The Best Book on the Shroud
I've been a student of, and one time lecturer on, the Shroud since the 1950's when I was a student in a Salesian seminary. I was personally acquainted with Fr. Peter Rinaldi , SDB, (nephew of Blessed Philip Rinaldi) who was one of the first expositors of the Shroud in the U.S. I've read almost every book on the Shroud and subscribed to Shroud Spectrum International. I live in the archdiocese of Hartford and have met Msgr. Guerrera, but only before I serendipitously ran across his thoroughly researched and very readable book. I look forward to another encounter with this very knowledgeable author. I heartily recommend this book to anyone who wants to know the most up to date info on the Shroud. As I write this (6/23/15) Pope Francis is returning from his trip to Turin where he prayed before this holy relic.

The creator of the universe brought him back to life from the dead.
If you are not a Christian, read every page of this very factual book and before you finish it, you will proudly and gladly be his slave for ever. He is supernatural. His love for all of us defeats the dark side totally. You will never have to be afraid of any dark thing this world has to offer again. Anything!

Excellent book
Well written, thoroughly researched and highly readable. This book will tantalize the interests of anyone interested in the most mysterious, and studied, relic in history. I highly recommend.

Proves the authenticity of the Shroud of Turin
The attempts to disprove the shroud's authenticity using carbon dating were a farce. The shroud corroborates the account in the Gospels. The author refers to the shroud as a 'mystery'. It isn't a 'mystery', it's a miracle. This book is essential reading. It's a pity that the sceptic philosopher David Hume isn't alive to read it.
