Beware the nails
Bought this for our 2 gerbils who at first loved it sat on top slept inside great buy I thought. After a couple of months and the gerbils start nibbling at it well that's what you expect. Then the gerbils suddenly stopped going in it and on inspection I found several sharp nails sticking out of the wood on the front panel where the doorway is. These could do some real damage if the gerbils had caught themselves on it, not a very well thought out design for creatures that natural chew everything you put in the cage.

Contains nails
I bought this for my gerbils, they have a had a few wooden houses but they just enjoy chewing them till they are nothing. On opening this I noticed a few nails poking out of the wood so no good for me don't really want them chewing through this and spiking them in the mouth I'll just stick to the ones I normally buy that contain no nails

Gerbils loves this hide out
I've brought this hide out before receiving my 2 gerbils and only put it in there cage today. They are so loving this hide out and they are both sleeping in there house. They are loving this house that was given to them for there welcome present from me and they really adore this.I would really recommend that if you need anything for your small animal then I would say this is okay for them but it depends on what you wish for you animal to have.

Misleading measures
I think the 20 in the measurements is misleading as I took it to be bigger, when in effect it's the diagonal measure. The actual measure it's 15x15x10. Other than that it arrived on time, it is sturdy albeit with lots of visible glue, and fits a dwarf hamster. This size it's too small for a Syrian.

Ok,but not really okay…
The listing states its measures which are okay BUT doesn’t say anything about the interior measures. As the qood is really thick, the poor creature doesn’t have room to breath! So,where it says 15cm in fact is more likely 9cm,where it says 21cm in fact is 13cm (plus part of this 21cm is the roof which is bigger than the house itself….

DO NOT USE..... NAILS EVERYWHERE
This should not be aloud to be sold!!!I have gerbils who love nothing but to chew. They loved this it was their favourite thing.I cleaned them out today to discover there are nails hanging out all over!!I am not happy as they could of easily taken an eye out.

Nice for a non chewing dwarf!
This house is a very nice looking house , my Russian dwarf hamster has it in his cage and it's just the right size for him but would be too small for a Syrian hamster, unless it was a baby. I tried it in my roborovskis cage first and it was the perfect size for him too but he took a dislike to it for some reason so it went to the other hamster! The wood does peel off easily , my hamster is not a chewer but if he were he'd make short work of this I think so if your hamster likes to knaw everything I wouldn't advise it, it's not hard wood that will withstand chewing. The top of it is big enough to hold a food dish if you wanted to use it as a small level.

Great Product For Large Hamsters!
This item is very good value for your money- the wood is a fantastic texture for your hamsters claws to scrape at. And the house is massive and roomy for my hamster! You would need a large space for this house but I highly recommend it!
