Well it hasn't actually arrived yet. But I'm sure its gonna be a great addition to my collection. Had to have it because I get to fly one in "Rogue Squadron" on my N64. This thing can out maneuver a missile. You need cheat codes to get the cool stuff. I'm too old for Santa so I have to make my own Christmas.

The TIE Interceptor is the meanest looking imperial fighter in the fleet during the original Star Wars trilogy. It looks fast, has the same head-on profile of Vader's TIE Advanced fighter, and looks like it packs serious laser pew-pew power. This toy captures all of that.And yet, it feels slightly off. Some of that feeling is undoubtedly attributable to the use of the modern TIE Interceptor model to create the toy. Like other fighter models in the modern trilogy of films, the TIE Interceptor's proportions have been stretched in some areas and slimmed down in others, given it an exaggerated feel when looked at from different angles. Nowhere is this more obvious than from the side profile view, where the wing tips protrude way out in front of the cockpit. Speaking of the cockpit, for whatever reason the TIE Interceptor's is noticeably larger than other TIE variants in the Micro Galaxy line. In fact, the whole ship seems slightly larger than the rest of the toy line, making it stand out even more.Finally, the inclusion of the stand is most welcomed, as the TIE Interceptor would be unable to rest upright on a shelf otherwise. However, it is a reminder that this entire line would benefit from display stands! C'mon Jazwares!
