I test-washed the first nightgown, washer sanitary setting (hottest water) and dried in a big load on drier bulky setting. The 100% cotton knit became a little thicker and softer, but shrank only a little. I got lucky, buying nightgown in the perfect size (16-17 years) for my 106 lb mother.Note that this Girls Kids Princess Lace Nightgown is not a V-neck, didn't care. Also right out of the bag the nightgown had strong smell but the first washing fixed that.

This product is very cute and soft. My daughter says it’s very comfy and she loves it, but she’s small for her age (6) and the 6/7 BARELY fits her. If she grows at all, the arms will be too short and awkward and it will be even shorter than it is already. The gown looks like it hits mid shin and the measurements made me believe that would be the case. We measured the length before buying and that’s where it should hit. It doesn’t. It’s just below her knees. I wanted something very specific for a Halloween costume (Wendy from Peter Pan) and not only envisioned that length, but ordered this night gown specifically because it was longer, and thus warmer. But it’s really not. Also, it’s very thin. That’s a plus and a con. I wanted something warmer for trick or treating and winter nights, but this will work well for warm nights I guess. Only it won’t last her that long. I would return it and size up right away, but she wants to keep it since it’s getting close to Halloween and she’s excited. I will repeat the good though. It’s very soft and I guess comfy. I’m glad the lace doesn’t rub or make it awkward. Well made so far. I’ll update if we have problems after washing a few times.ETA: We’ve now had this 6 months. It’s pretty small on her, as I assumed, but it’s been washed and dried a bunch and held up just fine.

I love this for my 10 year old. She's about 105lbs about 5feet and I ordered the largest size which goes past her knees which is great. I love the cotton material and so does she. Very comfortable for her to sleep in. She's allergic to all the cheap materials they use now for kids pjs. These are so wonderful I ordered 3.

Beautiful, well made gown. My mom thought it was a dress when she seen it in my daughters suitcase because of the delicate and dressy look of the lace around the neckline. I'm going to be ordering more for my daughters regular hospital visits for post cancer scans.

These nightgowns are cute and comfortable. The fabric is a thick, soft, 100% cotton knit. Warm but breathable. My daughter won’t wear anything else to bed, she’s worn different styles of these for years. True to size, she wears a US 10-12 now and I got the “12-13” size in these and it is roomy but not too big. “12-13” is tagged “140cm” , if you are familiar with that size range. Comes to mid calf on my average height 7 year old.

The nightgown is soft and pretty and my daughter says it is comfortable. I ordered a size up and I am glad I did. The larger size fits her great. I would definitely suggest ordering a size up. The quality is great. But the wash instructions are all in Chinese so I just figured I would wash it with the rest of her clothes. I have washed it on warm, normal cycle and dried it on medium heat, normal cycle several times and so far so good! I still gave it five stars because my daughter says it is comfortable and she absolutely loves it. In fact, I already ordered another color.

The fabric is great quality. I’ve washed several times and it holds up nicely. My daughter loves it and stays warm at night. Very elegant nightgown. Buy it, you won’t regret it.

This nightgown is pretty & so soft. Material is thick, so not see through. I ordered the purple & the color is VERY light purple. Most people thought it was pink. I ordered size 12-13 for my 12 year old, she is just under 80 lbs & 5 feet tall & nightgown was somewhat too short in length & sleeves.
