Good product. Washes my makeup brushes well.

Item recieved on Friday and sat down to use it today. A little personal info- I have highly sensitive skin and never use a dirty brush because of it. I go through about 20-30 brushes and 5 or 6 beauty blenders a week because of that and sit down once a week to wash them all. The problems I've encountered with other brush/sponge shampoos is that if they clean without leaving staining, they leave detergent residue, and if they don't leave residue, they don't remove all staining. I found this foam to work into the bristles very well, it dissolved all products (creams and powder pigment), rinsed out RIDICULOUSLY easy (the most impressive part for me!!) And even removed stains left behind by previous cleansers! I only noticed a mild detergent smell, nothing offensive or overbearing, and the bristles did not seem to be overly dried out when I was done. Will know better when they're dry. EDIT- I forgot to add that while I loved this cleanser for my brushes, it just did not do as well for my sponges/blenders. That's just fine! I'm perfectly happy to continue to use my old brush shampoo on my sponges and this on my brushes. I love it so much I washed brushes that I thought were clean and all of my travel brushes that are stored in my travel case. The ring around my sink revealed how poorly the old cleanser had cleaned them. I'm appalled and super happy at the same time.

Works well

I love this safe plant-based brush cleaner. It works incredibly well and I have been purchasing it for years. I also like that it does do not have a potent scent like many others I’ve tried. This is the most natural brush cleaner I have found to date that works! The only negative I have is that when I first receive each bottle, it is difficult to spray out any product from the bottle. However, if you take the lid off and run it through hot water for a few minutes, the excess product that is clogged underneath the lid will be removed and then your bottle will work. I learned this trick by calling Sigma Beauty customer service a few years ago- And it works every time for me. I guess they don’t have a way of preventing this issue. It’s not a big deal as long as you run the cap under hot water.

Loved it…worked perfectly

I find this a good product for quick daily cleaning of brushes, but not for longwearing foundation stains on my sponges. My 5 dollar unscented dr. Bronners bar gets the stains out better than this. The liquid version takes too long to get all the soap out of my sponges..this may be a good microbial makeup tool cleanser but for it to be worth it, it needs to be able to remove longwear foundation from my sponge completely without taking half the bottle. Not worth the money.

This is a fantastic cleaner, highly recommend.

I purchased this after seeing a makeup blogger rave about it. The foam is very easy to use and a little goes a long way. The scent isn’t too overpowering. Cleaned my brushes thoroughly. It’s a fairly large sized bottle which I expect will last for a good bit. Recommend for anyone that regularly cleans their makeup brushes.
