Minoru 3D Webcam

Allthoguh quite interesting, it is a novelty buy, additonaly, in both 2D and 3D modes, the image is 'jittered' and this shows in the saved files. The image is quite grainy and needs quite a bit of light. My suggestion is wait for Minoru 2 or another relatevly cheap 3D webcam. A posetive is that Minoru is small annd lightwieght.

fun for a few days, then used in normal 2d mode. However, trying to use for 3d some weeks later right lens appears to have pushed in and unble to focus.

Fun but the software is a bit quirky. I don't believe it is supported any longer.

this is a discontinued product with very little support for the current generation of operating systems. besides that the cameras are very slow.

Useful for experimenting with 3D and even computer vision. Great for the price. It does feel plastic and the image quality and resolution are not spectacular, but it's enough for experimenting.

very good cam but only works with xp

Does exactly what it says on the tin - and does it well. Acts as a high quality webcam, even in low light conditions, with the ability to broadcast in stereoscopic 3D, and 'Picture in Picture' mode. Easy to setup (I had no software difficulties with my laptop's Vista installation), and the hardware looks cute too, which is a nice design touch. Highly recommended for anyone interested in 3D, and priced well.

haven't tried it over skype or msn yet, but so far the pictures and effects are very cool on my own computer.
