Good value for the price
I spent about $50 on this dirk, and for the price I’m really happy. The Damascus is beautiful and it’s a solid, straight edge. The sheath is a big load of rubbish and the dirk doesn’t even seat all the way in, but I’ll make a new sheath later.

Made With Gusto!
Won't be disappointed, this thing is absolutely stunning to look at...so glad the dirk is no every day user, as I don't want to tarnish this beautiful piece. LOVE IT!

Beautiful!
This dagger is amazing! Absolutely perfect. Well made. Beautiful Damascus etching. Just exactly what I wanted to wear with my kilt! A1 quality item! It doesn't deserve 5 stars. It deserves 10 stars!

Not sharpened, but happy with product
"Designed to Last Longer, with sharp edges", as it says in the product details. It certainly has an edge but clearly wasn't sharpened at all. Good price though, I just have to sharpen it myself.

Hard to imagine a better knife for the price.
The knife has an interesting Damascus pattern. Just for looks in general it is an eye catching piece.Came reasonably sharp. It didn't look very sharp at first glance, but I took a swing at a pool noodle and was pleasantly surprised. The grip has a beautiful wood finish that feels good to hold. It's pretty light and not "too" large to be used as a self defense weapon. I imagine this would do some serious damage if you needed it to.For the price, this is a steal. I have other knives and swords that cost significantly more than this that dont come as sharp, nor feel as comfortable to use. I dont know how it would hold together with heavy use, but I don't plan to try to cut down any trees with it.

Not exactly as listed still worth the price
The Damascus pattern seems more like ladder pattern to me (not consistent with image). The description indicates removable belt loop ... sure, if you drill out the rivets. But, the blade is a full 12 inches, the handle is 5 inches. It feels pretty good in the hand, balance is nice. Will Not Cut, sharpening required unless it is only a prop. Still, worth every penny since I didn't have to heat it and beat it myself.

Nice dirk.
I bought this to go with my ceremonial kilt for solo bagpiping. Never intended it for self defense. However, it's a nice blade, pretty easy to sharpen, well done overall. If I get attacked by an angry violinist, I will revise my review.

Great Dirk!
So far it is beautiful, has a great weight to it, and looks like it'll be a great dirk. Will test it out soon!!Edit. We have had this beautiful work for a few months now, and my husband works it hard. It holds up against cutting down branches. It also had another blade thrown at it (husbands freind thought it was a brilliant idea...) hit the handle. Slight dent and the handle wiggles a bit now but still almost perfect! This thing holds up amazingly!
