No, Not For Ultimate Frisbee.
This is not at all appropriate for playing Ultimate Frisbee. It is clear that this listing is misleading regardless of the price point. This is also listed as cycling and possibly other gloves.Reason: The index finger grip is important for throwing forehands. If this was actually designed for this sport, the thin index finger fabric to allow surfing on your smartphone, would never be chosen by an ultimate player at the expense of throwing a forehand properly.I will stick with the more expensive but Well Designed "Friction" or "Layout" brand gloves , which are adapted for the catching and throwing needs of avid Ultimate Frisbee players.

still not sure about these for ultimate. as a casual sport glove they're good.
As an ultimate player, i bought them to help take the edge off a cold day, both throwing and catching. I think the jury is still out on these. I used them first on a cool but not very cold day to try them out. I made some bad throws the first game i used them, uncharacteristically bad. My good throws were no better than my good throws would have been. I'd say that backhand was hard to get a good feel for and that really hurt me that first day. I'll update if it gets better though.

Great for Disc Golf, and the price is even better!
I got these for playing disc golf on the colder days of winter, but am now finding them to be very comfortable on warmer days as well. They are lightweight, thin, and very comfortable. I really only use them on my initial driving shots, or to keep my hands warm in between putt and approach shots. They also help when you have discs with a cutting beaded edge on the bottom, preventing that skin tear/scrape that those discs sometimes can give you. Even better, these are about 1/3 cheaper in price than the "higher end" gloves that are specifically branded for disc golf. They seem durable so far, but I've only been using them for a couple months, about 6-10 rounds a week.

Comfortable and a perfect fit
I ordered these for biking outside. I am a really consistent medium, I am a female with normal sized hands, and they are a perfect fit. They are lightweight and comfortable, and the touchscreen works remarkably well. They aren't as warm as I thought, so I recommend these to protect your skin and not to keep you warm. These also provide traction the inside of the hand, that's nice for biking as well as anything else when you need grip.

Great grip and look!
I love these disc golf gloves!!! They have a great grip and look to them. I can use my phone with the thumb and pointer finger, which is awesome because I love to take photos on our families adventures and outings! These will be so perfect! I can’t wait to get out on the course in a few weeks! (Praying snow melts off a bit).

Worth the money, but much better options out there
I was intrigued when I saw a pair of ultimate gloves for 9.99, so I bought them out of curiosity of the quality and value. I was pleasantly surprised with the design and feel, but overall my grip on the disc wasn’t great and I couldn’t get a great feel for catching the disc. Overall for the $10 I was feeling good about them. Then it started to rain, and the glove was then absolutely useless. I lost all grip for the disc, and ended up having to take them off. There are better gloves out there, but for the money, these gloves are worth it.

Perfect for Our Need
I got these for my wife to wear while gripping the railing we recently installed on our front steps. She had a sudden stroke that left her with impairments on the left side so she needs to grip the railing with no chance of slipping. The therapists recommended weightlifting gloves, but that style glove has no fingers and thus would be uncomfortable on a metal railing on a cold and/or wet day.The gloves are a perfect fit, very comfortable and she loves them.

Good gloves, but touchscreen ability is fugitive.
The touchscreen capability fades very quickly. When I returned the first pair to the customer service representative at Whole Foods, he mentioned he had not had much luck with touchscreen gloves. A replacement pair was already being sent me, so when I could no longer use them for touchscreen, I just used them as gloves. They are really good, useful albeit regular sporty gloves.
