Prepare to have your skirt blown up!
If you are an experienced tarot reader who wishes to engage with a strongly stated view of tarot that may not agree with what you're familiar with --- this is the book for you. Camelia Elias has a lot in common with Enrique Enriquez, who has called his approach 'Tarology', and said, 'Tarology is to occult tarot tradition as the subway's grate was to Marilyn Monroe's dress.'Elias advocates for the ultimate agency of the querent -- and for the fundamental necessity of reading the cards. Not the symbolic meanings of the cards, but the very images themselves. Read the cards, answer the question. 'The reader is not responsible for people's feelings, for what people make of the reading, or for what they get out of it. The reader is responsible for delivering a useful statement, and for staying on track and true to the cards,' Elias writes. This book is full of strong, bold statements that will make you consider your own beliefs about tarot and your own reading ethics. If you want a book that just repeats what you already know or what you already believe, this is probably not the book for you (unless you read Taroflexions or Enrique Enriquez!). Lovers of tables of esoteric correspondences need not apply. But if you want to hear from a very successful, highly intelligent and well regarded reader of Tarot de Marseille in the fortune teller tradition. this is definitely a must read.

For the Inititiated - avanced tarot reading
This book is brimming with fantastic, raw intelligence, unadulterated by the need to pander to anyone. It is a rare thing in this day and age, to read something pure, intellectual, wonderful, undiluted. Don't read this if you're expecting a basic book of keywords, this book is about alive readings, in context. Context, and the question, are EVERYTHING, as Camelia will show you. Buy this book and enjoy a dose of authenticity with cards. I love everything about this book, thank you Camelia for writing.

Finally a real book on Tarot
Deeper than any previous book I've read on tarot, with a fresh and educated insight so rare in this genre. The author has a rich, unique style with wit and intelligence which invites you into her way of thinking. Practical lessons abound too. I'm so thrilled with this book and I think it will surpass all your expectations.
