It looks nice and the feel of the quality was nice, but after filling it and trying to use it, it works with a small flame. And it started to leak lighter fluid, almost set myself on fire. Would not recommend.

Great novelty lighter. Fill it up a 1/4 full only. It leaks/drains fluid from the top very easily. Also evaporates within a day or two. Put a Zippo flint in it and works great when kept upright. I’ve gotten many compliments about it. Fun item to have in the man cave!

Firstly, I really love the look of this lighter, but I am extremely disappointed with how it performs. To begin, the lighter light very very inconsistently. You sometimes have to operate the lever 6 or 7 times before you even get one hit of a spark. Then, no matter how well you tighten up the screw on the reservoir, the lighter does not retain fluid. While there is no sign of a visible leak, the fluid seems to "evaporate" at a decent speed. If the lighter is half full on Monday morning, it is 1/4 full by that evening...and that is without it being used. The cap is closed, the screws are tight, but the fluid just disappears. I can see the lighter on my desk right now, and if I stare long enough I can watch the fluid level drop, with no evidence as to where it goes. I can ONLY assume that it is evaporating because there is no seal around the wick or under the cap. In either event, I am disappointed.
