Exquisite Stitching with Multi-Hole Beads

I've given this book 4 stars because it has some designs that are really beautiful & a few not so beautiful...I made the "Quilted Pendant" (pages 30-33), although I used candy beads & changed the edge a bit. I did, however, find an error in the "Supplies" list. You will need 22 bicones with the tassel, 21 without a tassel, not 18, as it says. Also, if you want your pendant to have the same arrangement of beads as is shown in the photographs of the front and back of the piece, you need to put the bail on one of the "corners" of figures 6-8 (pages 32-33) instead of in the middle, as the diagrams show.I want to try some more of these designs, but I'd not be at all surprised to find more mistakes...

As an experienced beader, I find some of the diagrams very hard to follow due to many different colored paths on the same diagram. Also there are some mistakes here and there and even the written instructions are not that clear. The designs, however, are lovely and varied. The different beads are easy to find online.

Have made several of the pieces.. The writing could be better edited, ex. how much thread is needed especially for multiple components. Many beads are featured though the use of the same picot technique in so many patterns detracts from the generally well thought out designs.

Excellent book. This one has lots of designs and information. Easy to understand. This one is a keeper in my library of bead books.5 star

Absolutely exquisite projects, pictures and instructions. Easy to follow patterns with pictures. Love this book. One I will go back to time after time.

The projects in this book are easy and amazingly gorgeous! I don't think there is one project that I wouldn't make and love to wear!

Beautiful book! so many gorgeous projects in it. I am gathering the bits I need to make several items and can't decide which one to start with! A must if you are a beader.

Pattern after pattern of glorious beading. Ive just bought the materials to make 3 projects as this is one of the 2 books i will be taking with me when i go on holiday next week. Its a fabulous book. I love it.

Accidentally downloaded this book for starters. Would never purchase this book on purpose. Anyhow had a flick through and the pictures are all elongated. Terrible quality on kindle app.
