Stick-On Magnifying Lenses Hydrotac/ Reading Lenses for Sunglasses/LH (+2.00)

Having read the instructions carefully, I wet these before applying them to my sunglasses. And they were excellent, no bubbles or problems. And more to the point, I can read when wearing my sunglasses. No more balancing sunglasses over my reading glasses!

Very useful reading lenses. They can be cut down to suit. I use them for my sunglasses, and they work extremely well. Saves buying a new pair of sunglasses, and they can be transferred onto other specs, if needed. Only problem, make sure the glasses lens is very clean before applying. They can drop off, if not careful, but once they are secured they will stick very well.

I put them on a dark pair of Ray Ban aviators, and I can now actually read with them!I used to have to juggle with my normal multifocal glasses and sunglasses, but with these lenses i can actually read with my sunglasses.They were quite easy to install. The shape of the aviators doesn't really help, but I finally positioned them with a tiny part just on the frame.Due to the fact that the Ray Bans are quite dark the lenses are totally invisible to those looking at me.See these as a pair of ready-made reading glasses that you buy at the drugstore. Not quite as good as prescription-made glasses, but definitely serviceable!

The lenses work but keep falling off. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

If you are short sighted and are sick of carrying around a pair of reading specs these are for you. I regularly ride a road bike and I fixed these on my cycling glasses. For the first time in years I can now see clearly everything on my bike GPS computer. Fixing them in place on the gasses was a doddle and as they adhere with water it is very easy to reposition them if you don't get it right first time. I've now ordered a second pair to use with my sunglasses.

I added these to my Nimbus sunglasses and am very pleased with the results. I found that using warm water to locate the lenses worked better than cold. Now they are fixed in place they seem secure. Would recommend as I am buying more for my other sun glasses.

On my third set, which have been amazing to be fair. Never expected such good optical quality.The 1st pair I stuck to my helmet visor a year or 2 ago, with only a drop of water and there still in use, despite washing the visor every ride- amazed at robustness and adhesion.However, having trouble with my third pair, which don’t want to stay stuck on for some reason.They enable me to read my Garmin with ease, but have to get the bridge distance right, for perfect vision.

Zunächst einmal: Diese Bifokallinsen sind nicht mit einer Lesebrille zu vergleichen, denn es sind nur gummiartige Kunststoffaufkleber mit sehr bescheidener optischer Qualität. Ich würde damit keine längeren Texte lesen wollen.ABER... für meinen Einsatzzweck sind sie perfekt! Ich brauche nur zum Lesen eine Brille, so dass ich Sonnenbrillen ohne optische Gläser habe. Die Linsen benutze ich, damit ich beim Radfahren meine Uhr und mein GPS ablesen kann, was in mehreren Ausfahrten hervorragend funktioniert hat! Auch eine Speisekarte lässt sich damit lesen.Vorteile:* Muss keine extra Lesebrille auf die Touren mitnehmen* Ist leicht zu montieren, abzulösen und neu aufzubringen (nur mit einem Tropfen Wasser)* Kostengünstig* Unterschiedliche Dioptrien links und rechts können leicht realisiert werden (2 Päckchen kaufen)* Bei Änderungen der Sehstärke müssen einfach nur die günstigen Linsen ausgetauscht werden, nicht die ganze Brille* Stören Sichtfeld nicht mehr als bei herkömmlichen Bifokalbrillen* Gute Sichtbarkeit beim Ablesen von Uhr etc.: die mäßige optische Qualität fällt beim Radfahren nicht auf* Durch "Flüssigbefestigung" schlagen die Linsen keine Luftblasen - ein echtes Plus ggü. den Mitbewerbern aus China (dafür halt deutlich teurer)Nachteile:* Nicht für das Lesen längerer Texte geeignet, da die optische Qualität nicht hoch istFAZIT: Für diesen Einsatzzweck sehr empfehlenswert, solange man keine Lesebrillen-Qualität erwartet.

Sur mes lunettes de protection pour pouvoir travailler de près

Andaba buscando la manera de solucionar el problema de que debido a mi presbicia (vista cansada) no distinguía bien la pantalla de mi GPS (soy ciclista aficionado) cuando salgo en bicicleta. La solución más evidente es la adquisición de unas gafas de sol progresivas o al menos bifocales, pero esta solución, que sin duda es la mejor en cuanto a calidad de visión, además de ser bastante cara resulta sin embargo poco flexible ya que quedas limitado a una sola combinación de cristales y esto no resulta adecuado para todas las circunstancias; en días muy soleados yo uso cristales oscuros y polarizados pero en condiciones de poca luz prefiero usar cristales amarillos que mejoran muchísimo la visualización cuando la luz es escasa como por ejemplo a últimas horas de la tarde. Si alguna vez "se te ha hecho de noche" volviendo a casa con unas gafas de cristales amarillos no te explicarás como has podido vivir sin ellos ya que se ve más y mejor con las gafas que sin ellas.Por todo ello estas pequeñas, sencillas y baratas lentes acoplables me han resuelto el problema de modo asequible: puedo usar todo tipo de lentes con ellas y me permiten visualizar de manera nítida la pantalla del GPS. Es un producto pensado para situaciones de este tipo, no lo recomiendo para uso general en sustitución de unas buenas lentes, pero para el uso al que está destinado resulta estupendo.

Finalmente un modo veramente efficace e comodo per utilizzare i propri occhiali da sole e non essere costretti ad andare in giro con due paia di occhiali. Si applicano in maniera veramente semplice, praticamente non si vedono e sono proprio utili. Spedizione veloce e precisa come sempre.

Verwende diese Linsen seit ein paar Jahren an Skibrille und MX Brille (und jetzt auch MTB Sonnebrille). Geniales Produkt, erspart das umständliche Rumfummeln, wenn man mal eben auf den Pistenplan oder die Komoot App schauen will. Hält sehr zuverlässig. Die abgebildeten Hydrotac Linsen sind nach Aussage des Verkäufers nicht mehr lieferbar, weil Hersteller die Produktion eingestellt und das Produkt durch ein neues (heißt jetzt "Stick Tite" (wer immer sich so was ausdenkt)) ersetzt hat. Die sind ein ganzes Stück kleiner als die alten Hydrotac. Für kleinere zB Sonnenbrillen besser, für MX und Skibrille doch blöd, weil da die Scheibe weiter vom Auge weg ist und das "Nahsichtfeld" damit sehr spürbar kleiner geworden ist. Schade, aber für mich immer noch zwingende Standardausrüstung...
