These grill mats have worked really well for us so far. I originally bought them with the hope that they could be used to keep the new grill we bought for our second home as clean and odor free as possible. We have a real problem with bears there. Neighbors' screened-in lanais have been broken into by bears attracted by the food smell on their grills. We haven't been back to FL yet this season to put the mats to the test there. However, we wanted to try them first here since my husband is an avid griller and keeping the grill clean is a real pain. Well, so far it's been great! My husband sprays it lightly with avocado oil first and keeps a watchful eye on the temperature gauge on the grill hood. Food seems to take a little longer to cook, but there are still grill marks on the steaks, pork chops and barbecue-sauced chicken as well as the veggies we've grilled with it. The food tastes wonderful, with that distinctive grilled flavor...only now more juicy, yet not greasy. Afterwards, he wipes the mats with a paper towel-wrapped tongs to soak up any juices or sauce before taking the mat off the grill which keeps anything from dripping over the sides. I have the clean-up chore now, but find that it's really not bad. I just soak it for a minute or two in the bottom of the sink with a little dish washing soap and then wipe with a sponge. The tougher spots come off easily with the non-scratch scrubbing side of the sponge which I'm careful not to overdo. So now I know that this amazing grill mat will keep our new FL grill from getting dirty/greasy if we're careful. Whether that will be enough to keep it from attracting a bear is yet to be seen. I've cooked on these 3 times since purchase. Did steaks twice and burgers once. I was very happy to see grill marks on the steak when I flipped it. These mats let the heat transfer extremely well. I was worried that it might block the heat and make the grill more like an oven but that was not the case at all. The best part about the cooking process, especially with the burgers, was that any juice lost during cooking did not drip into the grill causing flare ups. It actually allowed the meat to cook in its own juices, creating a wonderfully juicy end result. The cleanup was pretty easy, but depending on how much you cooked you might be carrying a good amount of "stuff" from the grill to your sink. Still, I'd rather that than having to clean the gunk out of the grill later. Great product, great result and the easiest, cheapest upgrade you can make to your grill. Even old, rusty grates won't matter because your food never touches them.

Works well so far grilling mostly fish and vegetables (which usually are cooked in foil), occasional chicken and pork. To clean we put in soapy water and husband wipes with dish cloth. However, I find that I need to use a "scrub daddy" to really get the surface clean (probably because of the oil rather than fish skin etc. sticking.. We've been using this for about a month almost every day. We'll see how the surface holds up as far as nonstick quality as well as whether the surface remains in tact. My husband likes it because it keeps the grill clean and there are no flare ups..

I just bought these a few days ago and used last night for a whole grill full of varied meats and veggies. I use grill mats often and feel pretty confident of my opinion. This was first time I used this brand, and I must say I am VERY impressed. The mats are large (which for one is a great feature)...that said, it cooked my meats with grill marks and also preserved the juices and left no disruption in the shape of my burgers...where it applies to both turkey and beef Burgers that were grilled. My asparagus and squash grilled nicely, and my tomatoe pearls And mushrooms were bursting with juice and flavor. I especially love the non-stick surface....which made clean up much easier than other mats I have used.......overall a great product thus far. I may update as I use these long term, but as a grilling cook.....I love this product so far.

I was able to cut them to the appropriate size and shape with no problem at all. I liked this a lot. After washing them as recommended, I used them to finish grilling some par-boiled pork sausage. We boil them to get rid of much of the fat. They grilled up well, even had grill marks! Clean up was not so good. They washed up fine but several spots were and still are very difficult to remove. They are as clean as they can be, we are fanatical when it comes to grill cleanliness, however they certainly look like they have been used. Will continue to use them as they are very functional and help keep our grill clean.

Very disappointed. Saw a competitive grill mat on TV and then read up on them to see if they are legit. He really touted his own for a number of reasons and I took a gamble. Just returned it as it was no better than cooking a burger on a teflon pan (which I don't like to do). It didn't taste like a grilled burger, no was there any kind of searing that give outdoor cooking it's edge. Plus, you have to clean it each time which is a mess rather than just scraping down the grill.If you just want a larger cooking area than a pan in the kitchen, then these may be for you. But that's not why I got them.

Lost its BBQ flavour. The product works but everything that I barbecued (hamburgers, chicken and hot dogs) tasted exactly like it was cooked in the oven. It was not bad but when I BBQ, I want that distinct BBQ flavour. I may try it again with veggies but definitely keeping the meat directly on the grill.

I was quite cautious when I bought these as I thought they would shrivel, burn or simply disintergrate after a couple of uses. I have a four burner grill and these sit straight on the grill bed and cover the complete grill. A quick coating of olive oil, that is my choice, you could use sunflower or any other type of oil, and you are good to go. The first thing I noticed was that the meat retained the moisture. It was not dried out and if the meat was marinaded you are able to pour the remainder of the marinade over the meat as you grill and it sits on the mat around the meat.I have had many people wonder what the mats are when I am cooking and are amazed at the quality of the cooking. Everyone, without exception, has now ordered a set ot these. As a guide they are large enough to cook around 40 chicken drumsticks on.The next day I wipe the oil from the meat that has stayed on the mat up with kitchen paper and then wash the mats, either by hand or put them in the dishwasher. The grill remains remarkably clean and only takes about 1 hour to get it back to 1st class condition ready for the next BBQ.A quality product. Don't hestitate to but these

le nettoyage est bien plus simple que de nettoyé les grilles cela ne change en rien la cuisson après 5 ou 6 utilisations cela fonctionne toujours tres bien tres satisfait de ce produit j en ai commander d autres en avance

Need more time to test them but they are substantial and should do the job.
