Farm & Field IBC CAP (S60X6) to Brass Bib Tap & 1/2" Barbed Garden Hose Connector

Not quite as good a quality brass tap as the other one of these we own and the screw on plastic fitting leaks a bit even when screwed on tight with PTFE tape so good job there's a lever on the tank to shut it off when not in use. It's worth mentioning that not all IBC tanks have the same thread this tap only fit 3 of our six tanks so check the thread on your tank before buying a tap like this for it. Having said that, these taps make life so much easier as you can use a hose to gravity feed from a rainwater harvesting system.Seller dispatched it quickly and very well packed in a sensibly sized box.

Bought this for a friend from our allotments who doesn't have Internet access. He thinks this tap is great and I may buy one for myself too before long. Fits to a 1000 litre tank with no leaks and makes it easy to fix a hosepipe.

Very good but it could do with a washer to come as standard. In order for it to work properly it needs the washer from the end cap to be fitted as well. If you don't have it, the tap ends up upside down, the washer taking up half a turn of the thread. It is easy to have thrown away the end cap and the washer with it. The product could be improved by including the large washer as standard. Otherwise it works fine and it was delivered in no time at all.

Just the ticket. Would've been even better use with a 3/4" tap, but I don't think there's enough space in the IBC cap to fit one. An excellent quality tap, though!

Pleased with the product fitted my IBC container well used some sealant as it leaked a little, have to find a connector as standard hose lock are to big

Easy to fit needed tape on thread for complete water tight fit easy to adjust and took less then five minutes to fully fit including adjustments to brass tap

absoloute brilliant fit and a great price it beat all the rest on sale
