Handy to have around when taking product photos....
I take a lot of photos with my phone so I have been trying to pick up a few accessories to improve the quality of my images and ease in taking them. This product caught my eye because it contains both a fill light and a macro lens that could be simply attached to my phone. The items arrived nicely packaged in a box containing the fill light, macro lens, case, a USB-C (it's USB-A on the other end) charge cord, a microfiber lens cleaning cloth, and some foam strips with adhesive backing. There is no charge block included. So far I have tried both pieces on a Samsung S10E and a Samsung S23 Ultra and they were compatible with both. I did notice there is a small amount of vignetting in the corners that is made more noticeable by not removing the phone case before using. Both the fill light and macro lens were easy to figure out and operate. And they both did a fairly good job. The light is quite bright, holds a charge for awhile when not in use, and charges fairly quickly with its own cord and a fast charging block. The lens has some heft to it and comes with a cap for each end. It screws into the fill light frame quite easily and solidly. I've mostly used the lens to take photos of items like beads in my handmade jewelry. The case is surprisingly good quality and has space enough to fit everything except for the instruction booklet. The vignetting thing is the one and only issue I've had and my photo software's cropping tool took care of that for me. Overall I'd say that the product is great for amateurs such as myself who would like to improve their phone's capabilities and/or image quality....

The light is very nice to use
Directions were scant, so I was unaware on the use until I solved the issue. Could use better docs

Make sure you take your phone cover off
I’ve been looking for something to enhance the camera on my phone. When I saw this, I figured I would give it a try. I appreciated the different light settings it had available. I did make the mistake of trying to hook it to my phone with the phone cover on. It is in your best interest to make sure you take your phone cover off so it fits. I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max and it took a little finagling for the camera to work. Even with that it was a little off-center. Probably not some thing I would use all the time. If I had something specific to shoot though, I would definitely use it. It’s too laborious to take it on and take it off while you’re in the middle of taking pictures of different things.

LOVE this!
Absolutely love this! I am a photographer and not just any photographer yet a macro photographer. When I found this I was so excited because this lens will help me take pictures of things that I have been wanting to but can’t because I haven’t had the right type of lens. It’s also nice that it’s for a phone because I always have that with me so this comes with me too. This way I am not carrying my other camera with me. Would suggest this to anyone who wants to take amazing pictures or is a photographer already.

Didn't work for my phone
Sadly this didn't work for my phone and I have a Samsung 21 ultra. It presses on my buttons causing it to take a million photos or it shuts off my phone. Sadly I'll have to return it

Love the idea but prefer to use my camera
Love the idea and concept behind this but it just fell short for me.The quality and design of this is really good, and it works really well. Feels really nice and sturdy and comes with a nice case for easy storage and portability. Just feel like it is a little too complicated and fiddly to use. Feels a little cumbersome and time consuming to put on for a quick photo. I would prefer to grab my full body camera and a good quality macro lens.

Does Not Work on "Most" iPhones
Yes, this was described as for iPhone 15's, Androids, Samsungs, etc. but then went on further to say, "Fits for almost all phone" which I thought could mean it's adaptable for previous versions of phones. I was wrong in that assumption; however, I don't hold assumptions I form against a product. I have an iPhone 14 and it doesn't fit correctly to cover the entire camera lense as is needed. I can make it work sort of, but the way it ends up fitting very much cuts down on being able to get use of the entire diameter of my camera. The attachment will not fit over a phone case, and the spring on the attachment is very, very tight, which I realize is needed to hold securely onto the phone; but if you wanted to pop this on and off easily to go from macro lense to regular lense within seconds, that will not be the case. In all actuality, that may not be expected anyway from a photographer's viewpoint. If my iPhone was the correct size, I think I would really like this attachment. The light is very bright to light up the subject of the photo so that the lense attachment can do its job in an excellent manner.A nice heavy duty and compact case with a strong zipper is included; it has a separate net pocket for the charging cord and the foam add-on's some phones may need, while the attachment fits snugly into the other side of the case. The case I received was blue and black and has a small loop for use with a carabiner or other such device. This item is boxed for gift-giving. The price point seems very fair for the quality of the product. I will now go see if they make the same device for a 14 series.

Light: 5; lens: meh.
The tldr here is that the lens doesn't work with my case. It puts a black ring in the shot, which is not ideal - I shouldn't be able to see the lens apparatus in the shot, and it certainly shouldn't block the edges. For the record, I'm not using any kind of massive case, and I have a non-lit set of lenses that work just fine for me.When I take the camera out of the case, the results are stellar (other than some focus issues similar to those mentioned by another reviewer). But I'm not going to take my phone out of the case to use this product. I have a case for a reason. If I were a naked phone kind of person, this would be an entirely different conversation, but I've been known to drop things. Like a lot. So breakable things in my possession get protected as best I can.For the record, this is not an Otterbox or anything similar. It's at best a medium-size, medium protection situation. The light - LOVE. I'll use that without the lens screwed in far more than I'll use the whole apparatus, which is kind of a shame since the glass is the bulk of the cost here (or at least it should be).
