Excellent value product for shredding your personal documents for your own safety.It is fairly quiet when it is on, and I DON'T think that you REALLY notice it as I I have been shredding my paperwork for a while now and I'm happy to say that I have found it's not a slow process for the machine takes quite a lot of pieces of paper at once and it will accept staples so that means that it is a time saver as you don't have to get all the staples out before you get shredding. It's do easy to and IF there's a problem with the heat in the machine it's got a good safety feature and it will cut out until it cools down enough BUT to be honest I have managed to use it for a full bucket of documents to be shredded and it has NEVER come to cut offI'm more than happy with the purchase of this particular particular machine and I'm happy to recommend it to you if you could do with a new shredding machine.It is a little on the expensive side, in comparison comparison with the others sold on Amazon BUT THEY ARE WHAT YOU PAY FOR THEM.I definitely don't have any regrets in paying for the dearest machine I could afford because I believe that you get what you pay for.It is a reliable machine and I'm happy to accept it as a VERY GOOD valued product and the end result is a load of shredding paper that is available for the cat's litter tray and it doesn't come at any extra cost to have to purchase cat litter.EVERY CLOUD HAS A SILVER LINING AND THIS IS MINE and my cat, Domino is happy with it instead of the cat litter as it is softer feeling on her paws than the typical shop bought cat litter.

Previously I had another make of shredder which turned out to be too heavy and too flimsy for its own good. One day it tipped over and broke. The motor and cutters were only anchored by two pillare which were not strong enough for the job. Consequently it was too fragile for the job.The Bonsaii is larger, heavier and more robust. It also will run for longer (the other one only lasted 4 minutes before overheating) and will shred more pages at once. I've not tried shredding the maximum 15 sheets as I don't believe in overtaxing the machine. The collecting bin is ample and the machine runs fairly quietly.All in all,though it seems pricey compared to othe home shredders it represent very good value for money.

Brought this to replace our old one. I like the fact it can take up to 15 sheets at a time, can shred CD's , a overheat light should come on when overheated, easy to empty.So far so good, this is the most we have paid for a shredder so hope it lasts.

Was excited to use this and was praying there’s no defect. Thank God it works so well, its not that loud, just enough, and you can bulk shred your papers. I love it. I hope this will last long with me. It’s a tad expensive, but you know what , a little more goes a long way, rather than buying cheap stuff and last you one use😅

In common with a lot of people, I suspect, we are decluttering. Having lived in the same property for 50 years we have accumulated a great deal of paperwork. Old utility bills, receipts, product leaflets, bank statements etc. You name it, we have kept it! Our old shredder gave up the ghost just two days before our planned sort out and so we looked for a replacement. This shredder seemed the obvious choice from the others we saw and we have not been disappointed. It is slightly larger than our previous one but is so much more user friendly. We have been able to shred whole cheque book stubs , staples and all, clumps of bank statements , not two at a time, defunct but confidential work cd's and lots, lots more. The shredder has coped with it all. To empty the bin pulls out from underneath the blade unit and just pushes back easily. No more lining up arrow or bits of paper falling off the blades when lifting to get to the bin. The only thing we've found is that the shredder is so efficient that the bin fills easily and can overflow. When this happened to us I just put the vacuum pipe in to the bin cavity and cleared them up.We use the shredder oil regular as suggested. Such as easy process because you just zigzag oil over one sheet of paper and cover it with another and shredded them both together. No need for special shredder lubricating sheets.Sorry this is a long review but the shredder deserves it. We are so pleased we bought it, our paperwork is now under control.

I ordered this machine on Sunday and it was delivered Monday. Since then I have done hundreds of sheets of paper up to 12 sheets thick with no problems whatsoever. Brilliant machine.

A compact shredder which is ideal for the amount of our domestic shredding.Good price and arrived quickly, highly recommended.

I am very pleased so far with the Bonsaii 15-Sheet Cross Cut Paper Shredder - I've only had it a few days but to review: It was securely packaged in it's own box but then an additional Amazon box. The instructions were easy to follow and the 4 casters (wheels) located inside the paper drawer, were easy to put on. It is bigger than my previous shredder so it stays on the floor, so having the casters on the bottom is a great idea. As is the window in the front to see when the shredder is getting full. I have at least 8 box files of paperwork to shred but i am only doing it gradually to prevent overheating. Even though it says it will shred staples, I have NOT tried that. I would prefer it to last as long as possible due to the amount i have to shred so I am removing staples. At some point i might see how it deals with staples. I really like how it cuts the pieces up very small. My previous one cut into long strips. So this is another plus. It seems fairly quiet as well. Also, it says it can take 15 sheets at a time, but i am being more cautious and only doing 5 or 6 sheets. So far (touch wood) it has not jammed once! I have already filled 2 recycling boxes with shredded paper! I will update if anything goes wrong but fingers crossed all will be fine. So far, it is worth the extra price, especially if it does the job efficiently, without jamming like my other one constantly did.
