Very nice mirror,made well. It's lighted, uses 4 AA batteries. There's a suction cup on the stand that holds tight to any smooth surface.

I thought it would be able to see my hair, as well as, my face. But size wise it only covers the face.

After reading someone else's glowing review, I ordered this and am delighted with it! I use this for ALL my makeup now - not just eye makeup! I'm in my late 60's and was just unable to do my makeup before with my old makeup mirror as I wear bifocals and need a lot of light. I just traveled out of state and it fit easily into my train case -- very portable and traveled great. (My daughter bought me a makeup mirror for Christmas that had a tiny 10x section, which was no help at all, and the "Hollywood" bulbs around the edge were blinding and did not work for me.) This one has a nice selection of lighting choices and it glows around the edge, rather than the harsh Hollywood bulbs that seem to be so popular. I highly recommend this product :)

Before purchasing I read all the reviews because good lighted makeup mirrors are so hard to find. This one almost wowed me. The super bright light with dimming feature was excellent. However, the actual size of the unit was too small and I ordered the large. Still no bigger surface than my old one. I also noticed distortion between my old one and this one. Almost!

You might see more than you want to see. This gets really up close. But it does work well. I attach it to my really large bathroom mirror. However I have to clean the spot where I put it with acetone to make sure it is totally clean or it will fall off. Overall it is a pretty good mirror and makes putting eye make up on much easier. I don't know if I would purchase again though.

After I hung mirror, within an hour it fell to the floor and shattered

Magnification is 100% perfect and so is the lights for day and night. Best mirror I ever bought. No installation, it’s on my vanity table.
