Turn it on turn it off then plug it in to computer to play what you've recorded.
Product was ideal for recording conversation with different people. If your memory is short and you can run a computer and flash drive this is for you. Just turn it of and on when you want to capture audio. Plug into your computer and download the files you want edit them then wipe them clean off the thumb drive and start over again. Day to day recording . Just remember to charge in usb port. Good to record up to ten hours. Simple to use just turn it on then turn it off. You can only hear what you've recorded thru your computer or laptop. Great unit.

Great product
My ratings are based on what I have experienced in two day of ownership. If the battery lasts as long as promised, it will be wonderful. Same with the recording time. If true, I can record an entire meeting with most capacity left on the device. I set it on my coffee table and recorded about 1/2 hr of tv programming and it was very clear. At this point, I am very pleased with this product/

So far I have only used it to record instructions for its use. Will update this later.
The only thing that I definitely do NOT like about the unit -- and the only reason I couldn't give it 5 stars is that he little "handle" is WAY too small (and I fear it might break if subjected to much force and I would lose the unit and all the recordings.) I found it so difficult to put he little "key ring" (attached to the provided tether) into the handle that I gave up trying. I took another tether that I had with a small diameter string and the hole in the handle was too small in diameter to get double the tiny string through it. So I got some very strong fish line and looped it through the string of that tether and it was fine enough in diameter that I could get a loop through the hole and then I tied about six granny knots in the fish line and that was sufficient to attach the tether to the recorder. And the tether I used has a socket disconnect so it works out fine, as I don't need to take the loop from around my neck when I want to plug it into the computer. I am VERY worried that the handle on this unite is too small to have the strength needed to keep it from breaking if more than a pound of force was applied to that handle. This unit charged in the time the instructions said it would charge and the light turned blue. But when I left it in the light turned red again and that concerned me -- but when I unplugged it and plugged it back in the light turned blue again and I unplugged the unit and left it unplugged.I followed the instructions for setting the date and time and that process went very smoothly. I am assuming the time stamp is used in the title of the sound files. But I have not yet verified that hunch. Your instructions should mention how the time stamp will be utilized by the unit.I had no problem making the first recording -- I did made the mistake of holding the unit in my fingers while recording and the friction of my fingers on the unit made a shuffling noise which interfered with the quality of the recording. This was exaggerated by the fact that I have ET (essential tremers and my fingers vibrate). In any case your instructions should mention that the unit shouldn't be held in the hand when you are recording but should be free of any friction on its surface and if it is layed down on a surface that has any vibration that vibration will cause noise in the recording. But this is not a critisism of the unit (which is a problem one should expect and impossible to eliminate) but perhaps it should be mentioned in the instructions. Except for the noise caused by the friction of my fingers, the recording was EXCELLENT and I was favorably impressed! That is why I gave the unit four stars. The one missing star was due to the tiny and flimsy handle and the difficulty of using the provided tether. This unit is a brilliant idea. And it is simple enough that a cave man (or a person with dimensia could learn to use it). I am very impressed with the concept. I will write another review of the unit once I have had more experience with it. Unfortunately, I cannot give it more than 4 stars because of the handle and the problem with the provided tether.I would like to suggest one improvement to the unit. When you start recording and when you stop recording the light comes on temporarily. But it is red in both cases. It would be better if it was red when the unit is turned on and BLUE when the unit is turned off. Not a big deal but, unless it is difficult to implement, I would do that. My job before I retired was as a systems analyst. And that was the first thing I though of when I read your instructions.Another very tiny shortcoming is that the little cover is in danger of being lost -- if a unit could be made where something slides to expose the USB plug (Like some thumb drives have) that would be better. I suspect that you probably thought of that and there was a reason you went with the detachable cover. The cover only needs to be removed when it is plugged into the computer for charging or listening. So users just need to devise a system for not misplacing the cover. If they are listening to their files on a cell phone (via an OTG cable) they can just put it in their pocket or purse. If you provide a tether you could have a little container (or male thimble) on the tether where the cover could be stored. Anyway, I have found that nothing bad happens if you leave the plug naked. I have carried a thumb drive with a naked plug on my key-chain for years (with my medical history on it) and it still works fine.Bottom line: You should make a sturdier "handle" for the unit and one that will accommodate a standard tether. And instead of a tether, a better accessory would be an OTG cable that would allow the user to listen to his files on a Cell phone. Not everyone has a computer, but almost everyone has a cell phone. Also -- enhance your instructions as I have suggested. So far I am very impressed with this unit, time will tell if I will retain the four stars but I am hopeful that I will.

Great Overall Product.
I'm certainly very satisfied with the product. The instruction book is a bit confusing at times, but not so confusing that I would remove a star. But overall, this is a very nice product. I especially like the fact that it has a simple on-off switch on the side. No complicated color-coded lighting, repeated presses, or annoying sounds. It comes in a nice package, is lightweight and resembles the product photos.

Only lasted 5 months
Five years ago I bought an Evistar USB recorder and it lated 5 years. I could no longer find that brand when I needed a new one. Anyway I bought the Tammano brand in August 2021 and it no longer works. it's now December. I wanted to record my cardiologists appointment that's coming up and I guess that's a no go... So SAD.....urrrr not a happy camper

Review
Have not tried it. Maybe in day or two. To start, written instructions have several misspelled words and are confusing. Should be easier!!!!Write more after I get time to use unit.

Easy to use, good sound
Very easy to use and it worked to record my meeting with a contractor and the play back was easy to figure out and the sound was good.
