The Spanish nyora, or noras pepper, originated in the Valencia Region of Guardamar. These unique peppers are a small, round, intense and sweet-fleshed red bell pepper that are found in paprika and often used to add flavor and colour depth to stews, cocidos or soups. Most of all Noras peppers are an essential ingredient of Bacalao a la Vizcaína -- Baked Cod, Basque Style and the Tarragonian nutty Romesco sauce. For convenience these high quality sun-dried noras peppers are made into a smooth paste, and presented in a resealable glass jar.
