I bought another, more expensive brand of this item and the clasps were too large, and difficult to attach to the small end of your necklace or bracelet. These are the perfect size! Also the tiny cylinder shapes on these closures are much less noticeable than the large heavy round balls on the other closures. Because these closures are lighter, I don't find them in the front of my neck as much when they are on a necklace. These items have changed my whole jewelry wearing process- seriously you have to get you some! Makes it so easy to put on jewelry by yourself with no help and they are fairly unobtrusive. To me the magnetic strength on these is just right. Any stronger and the magnets get attracted to the metal on your other jewelry and then tangled up with it, and it's difficult to separate it all (even if you hang your jewelry to store it). I bought these because I had some necklaces where the clasps were too small for me to use. I rarely ever wore those necklaces because they were too difficult to get on. I bought these, and it became so much easier to put necklaces on. I am young and have perfect eyesight, but sometimes clasps are just so tiny I can’t even get them. I would especially recommend these for anyone who has trouble putting on necklaces, such as the elderly, people who have trouble seeing, etc.My only issues are that it does add about a half inch of length to the necklace when attached, so this probably wouldn’t be a good solution for necklaces intended to be short or chokers. Also, the magnets could be a little stronger. I’ve never had a necklace fall off using these, and the magnets are certainly not weak. However, a stronger magnet could be required if you want to attach these to a heavier necklace that would weigh down the magnets. I keep my review as 5 stars because neither of those issues are problems for me because of the type of necklaces I wear.

These magnetic clasps are great! So helpful if you have a short necklace that you can't slip over your head and especially helpful when there's no one to help you put it on. They are easy to attach to the original closure too. Especially helpful for those whose fine motor skills are challenged and for our older generations. Love these and recommend them highly!

Resolved my problem with tiny hard to maneuver clasps on several of my chains. I was about to just stop wearing them when I saw these. Yeah- Now my necklaces now go right on- despite how small the clasps and jump rings are- these magnetic clasps fit fine on both ends and now I just simply put my necklace on and voila- necklace goes on- the magnets join in place, problem solved.

I have been using magnetic clasps for years to easy put on my necklaces that have clasps. Magnetic clasps are not always easy to find, certainly not in stores. So Amazon, keep carrying them. Be aware, however, if you do purchase. These clasps come in different sizes. So you do buy, you may find out that the particular set of clasps are too big or too small for the necklaces you want them for. So check carefully before purchasing.

if you have problems with putting on a necklace because the clasp is to hard to manipulate or the chain so short you cant see what your doing than these are for you. you just clip them on to the clasp and now you just pull the magnets apart to get the chain on and off. the magnet is strong and wont just come apart. highly recommend for anyone with weakness or fine motor control issues. this will get you wearing your jewelry again

I tend to keep my nails long so even a lobster claw closure is a bit difficult to use & hubby is not always around when I want to put on a chain/necklace. I especially like the attaching hooks. They are smaller than lobster claws, but when I can attach them while they are in front of me, as opposed to behind my neck, that is not a problem. I had ordered some similar, but no attaching hooks on them, needed to attach by jump ring, luckily I had some & the tools to do so. These are the best, no tools required. Just remember, they will add a little to the length of your chain.

I wanted these for a small lightweight necklace. Far too big, clunky and worst of all, very poor magnetic strength. A slight tug and they’d come apart. Returned them immediately
