The Big Katie Morag Storybook (Katie Morag, 9)

A really lovely collection of stories, little poems and even a recipe for porrigees! My 3 year old loves the illustrations and is fascinated with the map of Struay and Katie's family tree. Would be suited to quite a range of ages of children too.

Not much info on this when read the description. Book is bigger in pages than expected. The map is great. Pages of who's who for those parents or grandparents that are new to the life of Katie Morag. Best surprise was a recipe for porriges !! Which my daughter had to make and its got her into eating healthy flapjacks now. Lovely stories. Brilliant buy for a fan. Bigger and better than expected. Perfect gift kept my 5 yr old daughter quiet just flicking through the pages on her own

Marvellous books, I have bought 3 already for my granddaughter as she likes Katie Morag so much. I would recommend these books highly as excellent reading and visually very pleasing. Any parent/relative would be so pleased for gifting these books.

We love Katie Morag's books. As well as the stories, my kids have started to appreciate also the little poems in it, which is great.

Great stories and some extra content (song and recipe!). I'm sure it will be read over and over again in the next 5 years!

Ms Hedderwick does write a very good story, the pictures are wonderful and a delight to point out wee observations that kiddies have not seen. Highly recommend them. Grand-daughter was delighted with them, as they were given as an additional prize, she had her nose in them the whole of the visit.
