It’s certainly not the most well-known of all sports, but sprint car racing might just be the most fun on four wheels. Just as in real life, the action involves racing cars around a track so fast that the vehicles need inverted wings in order to keep them from lifting off. The dirt track atmosphere means there will be plenty of dust devils and spinouts, and the game’s Track Deformation System ensures that any damage you do to the track will affect the action from that point forward. Choose from a list of 15 real racetracks, and try your hand at any of the four unique modes of play: Quick Race, Driving School, Championship, and Career which challenges you to build up your vehicle and reputation over the course of several seasons. Sophisticated AI allows for very lifelike races, and a revolutionary damage model allows parts to detach and fly off of the track. Full DVD features provide tons of bonus video footage for avid fans.

Great Game
Its an oval racing game - so if you are not into oval racing - you will probably not enjoy the game.Graphics are as good and you can expect on the PS2 - not as good as Gran Tourismo graphcs - but then what is!The game play seems very realistic and not arcadie and you work your way through the Sprincar ranks on liscened dirt tracks.Accidents are never far away in this style of close racing and both the accidents and close racing are reproduced in this game.Great game, good value for money and I only wish they would bring it out on a modern console!
