Black Sabbath: Paranoid (Guitar Recorded Versions) : Black Sabbath: desertcart.co.uk: Books Review: Better than expected - Having bought the tab book for Volume 4 I was hooked, got the first album next and thought, "Do I really need tab for this classic album, it must be all out there". Wrong, so far this transcription has been bob on. Nothing really in the way of performance notes. Just the tabs but they are great. Please note some reviewers have said there is no tab for the intro to 'Fairies Wear Boots', there is. It is called Jack The Stripper and is all there, verbatim. Now will they please publish one for Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. Review: Accurate tabs and straightforward music to play. - Very accurate tabs. A bit of background info on Iommi's technique would have been a bonus. I would call Black Sabbath's music straightforward rather than easy. Very riff-driven, as the Paranoid album demonstrates. The guitar work was in standard tuning unlike the albums that followed. I'd recommend this book for a beginner/intermediate guitarist.

Great album, book is clear and informative, tab and words are more or less accurate.

REALLY REALLY BAD - 5 STAR BAD. Go to StarForce on Youtube to see how the songs are done. You will never figure out how to play songs with this book. Also notes are in the wrong position on the neck. They try to squeeze 6 to 10 pages of tablature in to 2 or 3 using D.C Al Coda, Go to Coda and repeats. This book will drive you crazy trying to figure songs.

Tlw. fehlt etwas komplett...
