Julian Bowen White Wood Coast Dining Chairs Set of 2

Chairs are very light, but seem to be strong. Modern design and easy to put together.

We got these chairs cheap during the prime sale, so I can't complain about the price, but it is cheap wood, and it looks cheap. Very easy to install, however as recommended, do not use an electric drill, as the wood breaks easy under pressure. I would not recommend it for overweight people either, but for kids or normal sized women, it will do. Get it during a sale, don't expect too much and you'll not be disappointed.

Solid, good looking chairs, comfortable sitting position, great value for money (i was lucky to have them for 27£, returned items, brand new).

So when you search Amazon for a small table & chairs set, this product comes up, with a picture of a table and 2 chairs. Looks lovely after after much consideration I ordered for my son who is away at uni and has nowhere to sit to eat. They've been delivered today and surprisingly only 2 chairs delivered. Only after re reading the ad did I realise it's only a set of chair, the table has to be purchased separately. When the first photo is a complete set of table AND chairs, you kind of expect that you're getting both! So disappointing and a completely misleading ad.

Assembly would be easy is they supplied better tools. The Allen key supplied has a right angle at on end but the short part is too long and catches on the chair as you tighten the screw, scratching the wood. It’s designed to enable you to get the screws a bit tighter when you finally tighten everything up but the short end doesn’t actually fit the Allen key screw! The general finish of the chair is poor with badly painted areas and numerous marks in the wood. I got these on an Amazon warehouse deal so I won’t be returning them as they have obviously been sent back by another customer. Biggest issue was that there were no assembly instructions but thankfully they can be found on the Julian Bowen website. Checking my old orders I found an order for a metal headboard from the same company a couple of years ago and that also had damage that would easily have been spotted prior to dispatch. I won’t be buying items by this supplier again.

Apres avoir hésité entre des chaises vendu sur amazon et d'autres sur un site de fabrication suédoise, j'ai choisi ceux vendues par amazon pour un prix plus bas avec livraison gratuite (qui a favorisé mon choix)..... Mais vous en aurez pour votre argent car c'est pas terrible au final !! Le montage est simple, elles sont jolies et c'est le prix le plus bas que j'ai trouvé (114€ les deux livrées) Important, serrer les vis d'assemblage uniquement quand la chaises est sur ses pieds au sol en rééquilibrant plus ou moins vu le jeu qu'il y a.... les défauts sont: - éclats de peinture à diffèrent endroits (pas trop voyant) - chevilles en bois trop lâche, elle rentre à la main - montage des assisses sans insert, directement les vis dans le bois de l'assise (gênant pour démonter si vous voulez mettre des housses) ET NE PAS TROP SERRER IL N'A PAS BEAUCOUP D'ACCROCHE !! - pas d'amorce de trou pour les équerres à l'arrière de l'assise dessous - une chaise sur 4 bancale (pas réussi a rééquilibrer celle la ) Pour la solidité ça a l'air de tenir pour mes 100 kgs et esthétiquement elles sont jolies à mon gout Quelques regrets de ne pas avoir choisi les chaises suédoises plus chères.....

Tout simplement top! Le rendu est magnifique, chaise solide et facile à monter
