Coconut Broom - 55 Inches Length, Heavy Duty Broom for Sweeping Patio, Garden, House, Garage and Other Outdoor Spaces.

I purchased this broom to use as a prop for a dance I will be performing. The broom is from Viet Nam. It is made of coconut fiber and has a solid one piece broom stick that has to be screwed into the head of the broom. It has a little beige dash on. It comes with a cover bag that covers the bristles. The bristles are very long and stiff. There is a leather hanger on the handle so it can be hung to protect the bristles from bending when stored. I named her Alice Marie. I am happy with my purchase.

This is a nice brittle broom for my patio, it can sweep up all the pebbles and small debris easily. This can sweep many this that my regular broom just doesn’t get in the first or second pass. It’s very well made and was easy to put together. I like the longer bristles on this and it makes sweeping a breeze. It says that it is okay to use on hardwood floors but I wouldn’t use it on anything other than the garage or the patio.

This is advertised as an outdoors or garage broom. Compared to shorter bristle bundles which are therefore stiffer, this long bristle brush has a soft feel as the bristles will bend. It does the job but doesn't have ability to push as well as shorter stiffer bundle.So you learn a a softer long push style.As for being a garage broom I associate those with wide brushes like 30" with short stiff bristles, that can push a large pile of dirt and pieces with vigor. This "witch's" style broom is certainly a colorful addition, and made well, but I don't see it competing on a job site with the normal garage broom.
