Okay, so I get it, most people want a headphone stand for their desk/table top. What my priority was I wanted one that could stand on the carpet right next to our recliner! If you use over-the-ear headphones with your laptop or tablet then you might normally be out in the room away from a desk or table. I looked through scores of headphone stands with my priority being a heavy enough base to stand reliably right on the floor in convenient reach of where I am setting 90% of the time.This stand was perfect and as such I can access my headphones throughout the day and not worry about things falling over. My Sonos Ace headphones also have the fantastic advantage of moving the sound from my TV Sonos Soundbar to the headphones so as not to disturbe those who arise a little later or retire earlier than I. Thus again finding me in my chair not anywhere near a desk or table top. I do have a small lamp table on one side of the recliner, but the table footprint leaves precious space for my coffee and remotes.This is an attractive product with high quality components. It arrives in a custom box that protect the headstand during shipping and includes a couple screws and extra self-sticking foot pads. It takes about two minutes to attach the metal stand to the gorgeous wooden base.

This is a great product, looks great on my desk, and it’s not so big to the point where it takes away too much space on my desk. It’s a good size.
