Nice and easy to use is heavy but needs to be light is very useful working on small items especially as I’m aging and becoming decrepit

TLDR: if you using the clamp mount, go for it; if you intend to use the weighted base on a flat surface, don't buy this.MORE DETAIL: The lamp looks great, the light is bright and even, all three colours are distinct and very helpful. The magnifier is clear and easy to position. The clamp works well, but is slightly restricted (not an issue really)but my one and only grip about this is that the standard (weighted) base is just not heavy enough for the lamp. The lamp simply tips over, when it is anywhere near full extension, I'm guessing from about 75% of full available extension and beyond it tips.... this is no use in a lamp you need to position carefully.if i had known i possibly wouldnt have bought it at all, as i am restricted to mounting this on a nearby shelf, but the clamp is pretty good and the whole thing should serve me well.

Reasonable quality for the price but had to return as the plastic insert for the uprightlamp section was missing & could not be secured, there was no way to obtain a replacement insertCould not use

The light and the magnification are great. Very clear, and it illuminates your subject brilliantly. The articulating arm stays put when you move it to where you want it, and it's effortless to push it out of the way when you don't need it.That it's USB powered is actually pretty cool, because you can use any USB charger or a battery pack or even a laptop or run it in a car. So it's very easy to set up, and you can use it in unusual places with ease.The only issue is the balance. The base is weighted, but it will fall over if you stretch the arm to its longest extent. You can mitigate against this by putting something heavy on the base, but it would be better if the base was designed to counter balance the full extent of the articulating arm.
