I tried different brands of rear hock brace for my 16 year old Vizsla-Greyhound mix. All are designed in the same way. But this one is far superior because the Velcro fastener is not difficult to undo when it's time for bed (although it stays securely on the dog throughout the day). The grip of the Velcro on other brands of this same design is extremely difficult to unfasten -- so difficult that there is a risk of hurting the dog's slender legs in the process. These are perfect. This particular brand washes well and the Velcro fasteners retain a secure and comfortable grip after washing. I don't put them in the dryer. I hand wash and let them air-dry.I also want to make a comment about what this hock brace has accomplished for my very-senior dog: My precious girl was very close to being put to sleep, due to serious difficulty getting up from sitting or lying down and being unable to remain standing without stumbling and falling -- and being unable to get into "pooping position" without toppling over. I asked my vet, who is actually superior in her veterinary skill, if hock braces would help her. She said that, in her experience, such braces just "get in the way" of the dog's movement and are not helpful.I decided to try them anyway, after reading all the reviews on Amazon. And I thank heaven that I did. These WORK! Oh YES, they DO! I fasten one on each hind leg. My girl is now able to walk without falling, as long as she is on a non-slip surface -- having fewer than 2 falls per day, compared to countless falls before I tried these marvelous adaptive braces. She is also able to get into position 'potty'.And Phoenix clearly understands that these help her. She wags her tail when I begin to put them on her. This product is literally a life saver. Thank you, thank you, for such a wonderful device!

I have purchased several other brands of theses for my senior girl( 13 yr old Border Collie ) who has a condition similar to ALS in her hind end and legs. These have made it where she can walk and even run a bit and play. She literally begs to have them put on each morning!!! These have held up longer then the other 5 brands I have purchased. We will stick with this brand for the rest of her life. Every other brand lasted at most 3 weeks, and since she wears her "socks" everyday in order to be able to walk these last almost 8 weeks on a pair. God Bless the folks at Mindsinglong for making a fair priced GREAT product! Believe me we have tested most of the competition on these and this win hands down. We would give these 10 stars if we could. The sizes run true and the quality is awesome. Thank You again for a great price and not overcharging like some other brands.

Bought several styles off Amazon size large for my 62# 18 month old Collie after he had a partial CCL tear. The others I had bought cost 3-5x more but since this brand was just as highly rate added them onto the order. Use them as additional leg support as after the tear there will always be scar tissue. The work fine Do secure them with 2-12" of athletic tape cause at 18-month he still enjoys vigorous play at the local dog park. He doesn't mind his "splints". FYI the expensive $74 'splints" with metal springs I don't bother with anymore cause they work themselves off even with athetic tape although suppose they give superior support.

Delivered in one day. I checked all other products and this one had two braces for the price of one. More flexible than the others for comfort fit. My dog is thankful for the extra support. She is a 10 pound Maltese and at 14, her leg just starting giving out. Great value and just what she needed! Thank you!

I Got This For A Little Yorkie That I Rescued Needed Them For Her Hind Legs. Works Very Well And She Constantly Runs Around Playing Now. Thank You For This Product.

Lexie is 10 years old now, and loves to walk. Her hind legs are getting a bit weak, and this wrap gives added support while being easy to put on and stay in place.Now when we pull these out Lexie knows she's going for a walk!

Misleading. Offers hardly any support and is only like an elbow wrap.
