Bruce's best.
Everyone knows Bruce Dickinson as the voice of Iron Maiden. But not everyone knows that during his tenure away from Maiden, he recorded 5 solo albums (and a 6th shortly after rejoining). This was the 5th, and is IMO THE best thing to come out of the Maiden camp during the '90's in any shape or form.Basically Bruce tried softer rock, experimental rock, and then went back to what he did best: Metal.Backed by Tribe of Gypsies (good band, especially the 3rd album), Bruce crafted two albums of top quality music.Going into territories that Maiden never really explored, Bruce + band incorporated dropped tunings, possibly 7-string guitars, double bass drums, more sinister chord changes, light & shade, and shredding solos. And Bruce's voice soars over it all, singing like his life depended on it.It's interesting (if you care) that the songs and melodies are written in keys and using phrasing that better suit Bruce's voice than some Maiden numbers (not sure Steve Harris considers things like that).Great tunes, great musicianship...love it.

What can I say...This is addictive
All I can say is, if you like Metal then this needs to be in your collection. It's a drug...dangerously additive..I just can't stop playing it again and again...Like the other reviwers say, this is a masterpiece by the master of metal voclas...Don't think about it, just buy it now and enjoy!!

DICKINSON DOES IT GOOD!
I like IRON MAIDEN and BD either. Nice album. I gave for stars only just because Accident Of Birth is my favorite and his first act is very, very good!!! Take it! This is as good like any metal you have.
