These were purchased for my daughters hair for Halloween. They were packaged nicely and were pretty colors. They were sort of hard to rub in your hair all the way down to the end. You need to be pressing down on the hair somehow, so up by your scalp showed up the best. Also, they work best on blonde/light colored hair. I have medium brown hair and even the dark purple didn’t show up well for me.

Unfortunately, I don’t have many positive comments regarding the quality of this product, which I found to be very poor. These are the first hair chalk pens I’ve used but I was not impressed by any means! They were difficult to use, even if only coloring a small thin section of hair. Of the color which you’re actually able to transfer onto the hair, you can expect clumping/flaking, stickiness, uneven coverage and poor visibility (with some colors). I do not recommend this product.The pens did seems to work ok when drawing on skin but couldnt be used to draw anything in fine detail due to thick tip of pen.Additionally, upon opening the package I found that only 8 of the 12 chalk pens were actually included. Needless to say, this was not the best product experience and the chalk pens are on their way back to the retailer for a full refund!

I have three daughters , and they love doing colors in their hair . I have bought many different things like this for them . so far I like this the best . I wasn't sure what to expect but it works great on my girls hair . They have a med to dark brown hair color and this still shows up . Also the different pens smell amazing ! The color last a few days too .. only con is that they are a little messy . But i can live with that !

Amazing hair chalk kit. Tried it on my daughters and will definitely by it again. Strongly recommend if you want to surprise your kids with a nice gift

This stuff was great for my kids. They did put it on thick, so it did leave hair dirty/greasy looking...but they are kids, they do not care! It washed out in 1 easy wash for the 3 different hair colors/types the kids have. I have no idea on red or curly hair though. We will def purchase again for a rainy day!

These are fun for grown ups to put a color streak in their hair for a day or night and it washes out!! How easy is this and alot cheaper then the Beauty Salon. Everyone can try this and love it and their friends too.

The hair chalk worked as I expected. We also used it on the face. They're more like crayons, as in they get worn down pretty quickly, and there's no way to sharpen them that I'm aware of, so if you need to do precise drawings, this would not be for you.
