Decent Fireplace for outdoors
Been using it and its pretty decent. Material could be more rugged (thicker) to help prevent some warping of the rings but it does the job. Good Price

Five Stars
Well built. Has the door that swings open, instead of sliding, so it's easier to load wood.

Lovely little fire place, but bigger than it looks!
This fireplace is much larger than I expected. Plenty of room for several logs.Putting it together caused a little head scratching. First off, if you're looking for the rest of the washers, half of them are in the compartment for a different part number. I found that only after I searched through my home looking for washers. Also, I put the screens together incorrectly because the instructions were not clear. One of the screens is roughly the same size as the screen that contains the door. Those screens should be placed opposite one another with the two smaller screens between them, because only two of the screens have holes with which they are are bolted to the bottom. Also, don't tighten the nuts all the way until you've placed the screen on the body. After you've put it together, you add 2 or 3 pounds of sand to the bowl. This will weigh down the fireplace and provide a base for the ashes to fall. The logs sit on top of a grate that sets on the bottom bowl above the sand. The bottom includes several "drain" holes that are covered on the outside bottom by a disk with equal holes and a handle for rotating it. Rotate it so the holes line up, and you drain the sand. Rotate it so the holes are covered, and nothing comes out. This fireplace is easy to maneuver with the wheels and handle. It also comes with a cover, but the cover is really cheap and winter winds tore it apart. The top isn't bolted down, so it's easy to take off to clean out the ashes.

Not Very Well Built For Where We Live!
I like my fire pits to be sturdier than this one. It seems way too flimsy to me and the grating is two thin with too many gaps around the door. She Who Must Be Obeyed was surprised at how little weight and quality it had considering that it's going to hold a fire here in wildfire prone Colorado. We took it out of the box and put it together and looked at it with a bit of disbelief. It's more like one of those portable grills you buy at a dollar store than a fire pit. We had no faith in it from the beginning and we didn't even get to the burn a fire in it stage because frankly we wouldn't trust it out of our sight.Maybe we're being too snooty, but fire isn't something you play with where we live so we can only give the opinion we have. It's too light weight and the grating is just too thin and ill fitting to trust on our patio. Sorry. Two stars max.

Doesn’t Work for Small Patio
This BOULDER PATIO FIREPLACE looks something like a portable charcoal grill--my mistake! I should have realized before ordering it that a spark screen isn’t needed for corralling hot, glowing charcoal briquets. My patio is too small for this cute little fireplace, because there’s no room for people to sit around and watch the flames. The fireplace arrives in a big rectangular box, and requires a fair amount of assembly.

Movable.
This arrives in a big, heavy box, but I was relieved that a regular carrier was able to deliver it, not a freight shipper. Assembly is needed. I loke that it is on wheels so it doesn't have to be permanently be placed. Our weather is just getting cool enough to make good use of this.
