For The Love Of Cars: Series 1 Starring Phil Glenister -[2DVD As seen on Channel 4] [2018]

Love this show saw series 2 on the box and missed this one hence why i purchased. Ant Anstead & Phillip Glenister put their heads together and restore some real old classic cars like the Ford Mexico, the Land Rover Series 1, the classic Mini Cooper and even an old DeLorean (a rare right hand drive model). Once completed and restore the cars are then sent for public auction to see if all their hard work, blood, sweat & tears are rewarded. One for car enthusiasts.

This series grabbed by attention when it was mentioned that they were going to restore a DeLorean (my favourite car)

I love the classic cars and Phillip Glenister!

There's very little on the restoration process and a lot on Philip Glenister showing off what a tedious, unfunny person he is; he brings nothing to this series. Ant Anstead on the other hand is intelligent, knoledgeable and interesting but the programme is dragged down by Glenister and it falls far short of the quality of Car SOS.
