14AK MB15 MIG Welding Torch Lance Gas GASLESS Wire Feed Fixed 3m Cable (+ 0.6mm Tips)

Surprisingly better quality than I was expecting. I managed to fit this to an early 90s Maypole machine quite easily, you just need to do a little research first. In my case the new torch had an extra wire compared to the old one but that was quite simple to wire in after a bit of Googling. This is certainly not a plug and play torch, a little work is required but it'd really not that difficult and has made a huge difference to the quality of my welds. Recomended.

Easy to install, swan neck has a slightly greater angle than my previous torch which has made it a little tricky to get into small spaces. Trigger has ribs on it and is not shaped to fit the finger but is actually quite comfortable for long welds. Wire flows smoothly through the sleeve. For a cheap torch it seems pretty decent for the money, can buy 4 of these for the price of my original so because it works this is a no brainer in the current climate.

The build quality if very good when compared to the original torch. It has a metal wire feed channel whereas the original was just a plastic tube. So far so good. Easy to fit.

I replaced a knackered trigger etc on my very basic gasless mig. Although it's a basic welder I use it a lot and found it much more responsive and easier to control than the original kit. It's obviously got a poly tube for use on gas mugs but I just coiled it up inside the casing. Great value I'd say.

Received this it today and it is not compatible with my Migmate150. The description under the it says that it is. I have tried to set up a return but I keep getting a message telling me it isn't eligible for return. How can this be? Brand new and unused. No gas, no batterys or dangerous substances. Very frustrating because I have no way of knowing why it cannot be returned. I will try again and update later.
