I hadn't read the size dimensions so I thought it was going to be top small to create the finished effect but it worked perfectly.

AVOID!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS RUBBISH!! I've been forced to submit a 1 star rating, otherwise would be 0. Delivered today (Sunday) in an amazon box with bubble wrap (i.e. it's not a delivery issue and the box/outer packaging showed no signs of damage), the handle was completely separated from the trowel/plate making the product completely useless. I needed it for work commencing tomorrow (Monday) and the returns policy/procedure is not straightforward or possible.Disappointed with amazon/seller as this was clearly broken/damaged/separated prior to packaging!! This is not the first time I've received faulty/defective products from amazon and I thought they were better than other well known online platforms. They're obviously just as bad!!On closer inspection of the product, the handle should be soldered/secured to the plate with a smooth finish on the active part of the plate. The soldered points (two in total) are approximately 2mm in diameter, which is insufficient relative to the size of the handle/height/width/weight/etc. Very poor design with guaranteed failure at some point. All you would have to do is apply a bit of pressure and the handle is likely to fail.The curve on the plate (the part which is supposed to give you the "professional" edging required) is uneven with sharp and blunt edges along the plate. This will, therefore, cause a noticeable drag when you attempt to finish the concrete.The smooth part of the plate is dented where the soldering points are and is not as flat as expected. No signs of tampering with the plate (i.e doesn't seem to be damage from storage/transit/etc.), but more related to manufacturing defects.Overall, a bad quality product, which I am now stuck with and cannot return. Money lost!! I hope this doesn't happen to you. It is wrong to say "you pay for what you get", as some people would. Just because a product is cheaper doesn't mean that it should be rubbish and the consumer should be punished for trying to save money

The trowel is a convenient size for storage.I particularly like the raised edges at front and back - designed to prevent 'snagging' the leading edge on the pre-floated slab.

Did the job correctly, excelkent for the price.

I bought this for a single use application, and it's definitely strong enough to withstand numerous household projects. Eash enough to use, and with a nice cuvature. I wouldn't hesitate to buy again.
