Bought these to wear at my bar job, knowing I would need good shoes to last 12 hr shifts. The material loosened up fairly quick in that they lost their stiffness as you want from a pair of work shoes, meaning I didn't get blisters from them, not even when I first got them.It's worth saying I did go through the first pair in about 3 months and had to buy another pair, but I did choose these again. They also wore through as they were being worn for 50 hours a week while I was on my feet the whole time, something most shoes aren't built for, so it's to be expected they wore through and I don't see that as a flaw in their design.Splash-proof for sure (not sure if waterproof). The sole is soft and stayed that way for longer than I expected.I do recommend these shoes. Obviously if you're working long hours on your feet as a rule rather than an exception, these shoes might not last too long, which is why I marked 4 out of 5 stars.

I usually take a UK size 5 - 5 1/2 (I have one foot a size 5 and one 5 1/5!) & I ordered a size 6 . I wanted a shoe with plenty of space in the toe and comfortable to walk in as I broke my middle toe (on my smaller foot) a few months ago & although its healed its still tender. I haven't worn proper shoes since until now, but needed a pair or outdoor shoes quickly, so ordered these. I have walked on them all day indoors first & then took a walk to the shop & back, & they are lovely. My toe has not hurt once. I wear them with thick socks. As other reviews have said the elastic under the strap seems slightly tight my larger foot I had to manouver the shoe on a bit, but my smaller foot was relatively easy to put on. But one both shoes were on they felt very comfortable indeed. Anyone buying this might need to get a larger size, but for what I paid for them they are excellent value & more importantly I can now walk outside without worrying about my toe.

I have bought these as I do a part time job (not daily) where I have stand for a maximum of 12 hours. I tried these out and was wearing them for around 8 hours with standing for most of that time with breaks throughout the day. The soles are very comfortable, but I did find that they rubbed slightly on the tops of my toes (did not blister) as the day wore on. I do like the make of these and the fit was quite tight but I anticipate with wearing they will stretch and fit better as I did not want to get the bigger size as they would be too big. No problems with the elastic across the foot as mentioned by others did not know it was there.

The shoes are nice but I had to return them because they were too tight. Usually, I buy size 4 and always are a bit loose for my feet, but not in this case, so I think the size of the shoes was incorrect. I want to try them in size 5, so I’m waiting to receive them to write a review.

I wasn’t sure, what to except, I spend over 14 hours on my feet so I was looking for comfortable shoes . The shoes are just that wide in front,comfortable and right colour plus affordable .The only negative thing about them is that inside get’s easily because of the material they use

Although I have just received these so can't really say if they are good or not, but I can say the delivery was so quick, I was surprised to get them so fast. Delivery driver lovely. Shoes feel soft, but will write an up date review in a couple of months. I have trouble finding comfortable shoes and am regularly on my feet for 12 hours at a time, hopefully these shoes will live up to the reviews.

These shoes are well made and would be comfortable. Regrettably I had to return them as, having a very high instep, I couldn't get my foot into the shoe because of the elastic underneath the tongue of the shoes which had the effect of making them too narrow. Hence my having to say they were "moderately small". I would certainly buy again hoping the next shoes didn't have the same problem.

Although the elastic across the top is tight initially, it doews loosen a bit with wear. Better for those with narrow feet, however definitely long enough and wide enough for the sole toes and heels of the foot. Very comfortable to stand in all day and walk four miles in. No blisters from rubbing at all, no rubbing at all. The backs are a little lower than expected but not too low. I have only had these shoes just over a week, great for pavement and floor walking, not designed for going cross country. More waterproof than trainers but not as good as wellies. As yet I don't know how long the soles last. I hope they do last a year
