Ordered this and replaced with a broken plastic recliner pull handle. Very well made and much better than the plastic one that came with the Ashley Furniture recliner. Easy to install and works a bit smoother than original.

Was easy to install fit like a glove and is easier to pull on than the original that was in couch.

Good quality, easy to install. Would recommend. :)

quality is off the charts

Should be on there first. Our first plastic one broke within 2 months. We called the company and they said no one makes these. We had to wait 3 months for them to fix it. So when the second one broke i took a chance on this as they were metal. Mom and I are not very talented hower we were able to replace within an hour. Just make sure the original screws are not stripped like ours.

I bought a plastic one of these as my first replacement. Imagine my surprise when it broke off in my hand only a few months later. This time, I bought a metal one. It really wasn't even more expensive than the plastic ones. I honestly don't see how this one can break. I am very pleased with the quality. Makes you wonder why Lazy Boy didn't use a metal one to begin with.

These were easy to install and much better than the plastic crap that comes with the recliner.

I had previously purchased a plastic piece and it lasted less than a year. So, now I ordered this metal handle. I received it in the mail 2 days later. It feels much more durable than the plastic handle and it took me approximately 3 minutes to install. I'm very happy with my purchase. Hopefully the metal handle is more durable than the plastic handle.

This handle is indeed all made out of metal. It is 80% more expensive than a plastic handle here on Amazon but my last plastic Amazob handle lasted less than a year. This one should do much better as it feels much more sturdy.Just make sure to check dimensions of your current handle to ensure proper fit. This one is roughly 3x3.5" as described.The only issue was that the little metal clip that keeps the cable in place was missing (it's shown in the ad). I was able to reuse my old clip but had to modify it a bit using pliers to ensure a tight fit so this handle still easily gets 4 stars.P.S. If you are missing the metal clip and don't have the old one then you can also use a small zip tie by looping it around the cable and then around the anchor portion of the spring (the one that snaps the handle back when you pull on it). You can't loop the zip tie around the body of the handle as it'll affect its operation.
