Spiritual Intimacy With God: Moving Joyfully Into the Deeper Life

An amazing read that gives a realistic approach to intimacy with God. Additionally the book goes in depth with practical steps to take and Alice Smith gives personal examples of what worked in her life. I reccomend this book for anyone seeking for more insight into what a stronger relationship with God entails. This book was right on time and exactly what I needed. Each chapter prompted me to dig deeper into my own relationship with God and challenged me in ways I didn't realize were possible.

From the beginning of the book to the end, my heart was moved to tears. At times I found myself weeping uncontrollably as the Holy Spirit ministered to me. This one gets Re-Read status.

What I liked was Mrs. Smiths deeply loving look at God and the many ways that she reminds us that all of us who desire a closer relationship with God are on His intimacy list of things to do now! He longs to have a closer and deeper walk with each of us and intimacy is the desire of His heart.

Great explanation and examples on meaning of intimacy with God. Remember to go after the Lord's heart!! You will experience his love if you do!
