Decided it was time for an upgrade of our old Oral B electric toothbrushes. There are a few different options in the iO range, but after a bit of research I settled on iO8 as being the sweet spot. The duo pack was at a good price point and meant my wife and I could swap over at the same time. Impressed with the low noise level, battery life and some features of the smart phone app. The ability to see your brushing routine in real time is quite nice - although not something you'd want to do for every brush; gives you an idea of the areas you tend to neglect. Also ties into things like Apple Health, so you have a record of your brushing - if that sort of thing floats your boat! The hygienist at my dentist has commented that I'm doing a good job of keeping on top of plaque and my gums are healthy, so I think the combination of the new brush and app has a bit to do with that.

Best toothbrush I've even owned! Love everything about thus toothbrush, the different modes aren't gimmicky and all feel like they do what they say and my teeth feel so clean after. My only gripe is the cost of the brush heads and obviously the initial cost of the brush itself but like they say, You get what you pay for and I see this as money well spent.

We got this during the July spring event so was amazing value. The toothbrushes themselves are great. Especially compared to my old oral b which was over 10years old. The design is less bulky and I like there are two different colour. There’s a screen which lets you known the battery percentage, there’s a timer on it and you can select the function you want to brush with too. It doesn’t make as much noise compared to my older toothbrush either. I like the travel case it comes with too - again less bulky and easier to carry

The toothbrush I have ever had and it does as the adverts on television say. I struggled to remove staining on my teeth with a normal toothbrush, and my gums would sometimes bleed. But this electric toothbrush is my first one. I looked at the cheaper models and know people who use them, and they are not the same, apart from the price. This electric toothbrush removed all the yellow staining and bits of rubbish that nd manual hand brush cannot reach. My gums and teeth feel healthier and are much cleaner and whiter. I am 52, so my teeth will not be super white like the folks you see on television shows because they have all had cosmetic surgery done that costs thousands. My teeth also have a bit of a shine now. I give the review five stars and will recommend it if you can afford it. The price on the day of purchase for me was £186.77, but prices might go up or down. Avoid those horrible £15 and £30 electric tooth brushes, they burn out and break, and you end up spending more money. Make sure you stand over a sink and away from a mirror because they will spray a little bit like a dentist's electric toothbrush.
