They should nickname this TV the "Erebus"
Holy smokes. I was about to buy a 75 inch Sony Bravia UHD TV (non-OLED) that was on sale for 1999.99, but I'm glad I read some reviews and chose the LG OLED instead. The picture is spectacular, even in mere HD. My one complaint (well, not really a complaint-- more like an observation) is that one can easily believe that the TV is off when it is not. If I have the TV input set to the Amazon Fire TV and the Fire TV device goes into standby, the LG OLED TV will appear to be turned off. With my other LED TVs, there is still a slight glow (the blacks on those TVs are not so dark as the LG), but the LG's complete utter "Erebus" blackness makes the screen appear to be off. I've learned to look for the "standby" red led to determine if the TV is really turned off. I used to own a Pioneer Elite PRO-111FD and I was impressed by the blackness and contrast ratio, but I can finally say that another TV has equaled or surpassed the Kuro. With this level of black, the marketing folks at LG missed an opportunity to put a nickname in the minds of every AV aficionado. I nominate the name, "Erebus."The thinness of the set astounded me as well, and it made it easy to mount the TV up on the wall mount by myself.

Waste & defective product. You can see patches in screen
Worst experience from amazon. It was a old tv, with lots of patches in the screen. When i started the tv it shows "NASA" as a logo behind.Hardly any feature to enhance or sharpen the picture quality, complete video was distored while playing with useless colors.Company should atleast do a basic sanity check before selling such reused & defective product. I spend almost 3 days to receive it, mount it , set it & play it. After that dismount the same repack it and talk to a careless & uneducated group of people seating in amazon customer care to arrange pick up via upsc. There is no proper return procedure, any time upsc will come knock a door once n run away by saying no body present to return the item.Never buy any kind of refurbished product in amazon . Its wastage of your valuable time , money .. and at the end you will feel harasshed mentally.YOU can see patches in attached screenshot with this review.Amazon should reimburse the time they wasted of mine.

Arrived damaged
Good deal for a 65" OLED. Unfortunately, the TV arrived heavily damaged even though the shipping box appeared to be somewhat okay (was worn and a bit rough, but not damaged on it's sides to cause the damage done to the TV itself) makes me think it was probably already damaged before it left the 3rd party shipper. You take your chances when you buy renewed from 3rd party sellers. Some people got lucky, I didn't.

Too good to be true.
Was excited to get an LG OLED tv at a great price. Unfortunately, it was too good to be true. The picture was discolored and there was a "star-like" imprint in the screen. Tried to have the TV repaired via LG's warranty, but there was no resolution after a month. Returned the unit.

Brilliant TV - The Renewed Quality is absolutely fantastic!
I was skeptical about buying a renewed TV, and boy am I glad I did!First off, the TV looks brand new and in excellent condition, the quality is second to none. The picture quality is magnificent and staggeringly stunning! Overall cannot be happier purchasing this, and for the cheaper price tag than a brand new one, you cannot go wrong! If there's even a hint of skepticism about buying one, go for it! You will not be disappointed!

Never been happier with a TV
I bought this renewed TV bc it was cheaper than the new one and i have to say that I'm very surprised by the quality of the product. It actually looks as if its brand new product and it works just fine. The price for this size and quality resolution tv cannot be beat.
