This is a nice journal. I really like the lined pages and that there is a spot for the date, what day of the week and topic. It's just like the picture.

This is a really nice journal. I love that there were some different options that I could select for the cover. I wanted something that sort of symbolized that I did recognize the hardship that someone close to me is experiencing. This was definitely great for that.Size wise this is very wide lined so it's not necessarily for long detailed writing. It seems more like something to write down thoughts you have in passing and may want to refer to later, maybe more like notes than a full-blown journal. Either way, it's nice for what it does. The paper is good, did not run into any bleeding through the pages. Very nice journal and I feel it's definitely worth the price.

This is a nice purse-sized journal with some inspiring words. I like the encouragement on the front so that everytime you pull it out, you get a dose of feel-good. It's on the small side for me and I usually prefer my journals to not have headings on every page, but it's still nice.

I got this Motivational Leather Journal for my niece. I liked that it had a positive message on the cover to help her focus on the good things in her life. The journal itself is made with nice quality paper which has been smudge free with a gel pen which is saying a lot. If you need a journal, why not one with a happy positive vibe built right in? :)

My 14-year-old daughter journals every day. She's tried multiple notebook styles -- from totally blank pages to heavily structured. I got her this notebook from WHLBHG to try, and she really likes it so far.The journal was delivered in perfect condition, well protected in a simple box. There is minimal packaging, which I appreciate. The journal makes a lovely first impression. The covers have cheerful imagery, with a nice leathery feel. The pages are a good thickness, with subtle lines to guide writing, without being too heavy.The pages are mostly open style, with minimal prompts for "Memory Number" and a date. My daughter has successfully used journals with more daily prompts, and she likes that style also. But other times, she just wants to write freely, and this one is great for that purpose.This is a great little journal for free writing. I recommend it.

I make an effort to journal daily. Primarily for gratitude, sometimes for therapy, a place to vent. I go through journals frequently as a result. This one has some slightly different features. You can number each entry, circle the day of the wk, and circle the weather all at the top of the page. Usually, I would just start my entry with the date and 'Grateful for ..... ". I especially like the quote/reminder on the front of the journal. To "live in the moment, laugh every day, and love beyond words" if I can do that I will always have reasons to be grateful.

In addition to collecting pens, I LOVE collecting journals. I love most journals – spiral or book-bound like this one. But, I do have my preferences.Pros: small, lined pages, ribbon to mark one’s placeCons: pricey, paper is thin (works better with pencil, ballpoint ink – no water based or gel inks are recommended), date section (this might not be needed by some)To be honest, it is an “average” journal, definitely not worth nearly $17. I’ve found better for about 1/3 of the price.

It’s fine. I’m sure it’s not real leather but feels solid and is decently made. Pages are wider ruled but fine for light journaling. It’s definitely overpriced and should be more around the $10 mark.
