Not as convenient.
Price point is better, but unlike other name brand humidifier of the same type/shape, this one doesn't open and you can't get your finger in to check the sponge. (I actually broke the top trying to get into it.)The holes are on the side and one tiny one on top, so you have to refill by throwing it in a cup of water.

Tiny and mighty
I am surprised to read others had a problem with the size. My little uke eats this guy for breakfast!I recently moved into an old apartment building. Radiators kill acoustic guitars and their ilk, so this should do the job.Yes, you can't remove the top. Not a biggie. Soak it in distilled water cut with an antibacterial/mold humidifier water treatment solution (any musician worth their weight in gold and who lives in a dry climate should own and run a humidifier, and have some kind of humidifier solution) Shake off the excess and dry.Store your uke in a case when you're not making beautiful music and you are good to go! ; )

Fits my concert uke nicely
I bought this type of humidifier after first purchasing one which I found to stretch the strings wider than I liked. So it fits nicely in that way, but like some other reviews, you cannot tell when the pad is dry. I just soak the unit every few days in distilled water for a few minutes, shake it and wipe it dry and re-insert between the strings over the sound hole. I keep my uke in a canvas gig bag, so at least it is not exposed to dry air as much.

No way to check the wetness of the sponge
The top is not removable as the other reviewer mentioned so there is no way to physically check whether the sponge is wet or not. Instead, there is a hole on the top so I put this under running water until the sponge looks wet. Hope this little humidifier can keep my ukulele from dying from drying.

Not mu Ukulele
Didn't like the fact of having to soak the whole piece in water. Because the top doesn't open up. Then you have to wait until its dry enough before using it

These are easy to use
These are easy to use, but they don't come with any instructions! I just soak it in water for a while, then stick it between the strings.

Would like a larger capacity humidifier
Probably need a hard case with it. Would like a larger capacity humidifier. This is not much larger than the water container for a humidor, but with a larger area to humidify.

No dims listed. Too big for my soprano.
Decent little hunidifier, however it does not fit in my vintage soprano uke. It's too deep/ tall. It does fit in my baritone uke, so that's where I'm using it. You would think they would include the dimension on the product listing.
