I recently had surgery to replace the plastic back of my patella (previous knee replacement) and remove some bone spurs from the front of the patella.I developed a complication of a giant hematoma, as well.Now that all is healing, compression is absolutely a must during recovery.I struggled with a few knee sleeves before the surgery, and I no way shape or form were they goid then, never mind now.I followed the measurements exactly, and ordered the XXL.Day 1I wore it for about 3 hours before bed, and absolutely tried in bed for about an hour. I got up and used my ace bandage wrap for the night.Day 2I have been wearing it almost all day, I've gone shopping for a couple of hours, and now I'm elevated with my ice...I am ABSOLUTELY PLEASED!It didn't slip down, bind, pinch, dig in or get itchy.I will probably give it another try tonight as well.My surgeon said this is the style knee sleeve he wants me to wear. We are going on a long vacation in 3 weeks, and this will be my daily companion while touring.I am happy it's a pair, as my other knee needs replacement now, so if I get sore, I'll have a matching pair.

Knee brace comes with a sweat band (not sure why). Seems to support my knee pretty well. Has non-slip around the top of the brace to keep it from sliding down your leg (works as intended). The lower portion of my thigh area, just above my knee, measures 18 inches around. The upper portion of my calf, just below my knee, measures approximately 16 1/2 inches round. The XL brace didn't slide down my leg as I walked around my home, but it also didn't feel as tight as I would have liked for "compression." I think the Large size would have worked better for me in that regard. Nothing poked me and the brace feels comfortable to wear for long periods. It's always difficult to review some of the medical claims made for these device,s as I honestly don't know if it is helping me in any meaningful way. This is what I can tell you for certain: It feels comfortable on MY leg. Allows full range of motion of my leg. It grips my leg, around my knee joint, and doesn't slide down. Is it doing anything else that the seller is claiming? I have no idea. Realize I'm giving it 4 out of 5 stars for what I just mentioned and nothing else.

Very good product, fits comfortably without a lot of pressure , easy to put on and off and adjust height of sleeve. Has softer area for knee and back of knee so it does not bind when on . It is wonderful. Ordered two pairs, Does not slide down as some have said. Excellent product

Measured according to size chart but item received was so small it cut off circulation. Very disappointed as seemed well constructed. Requested return.

My daughter hurt her knee trying to swim like a mermaid. ha! Anyway, after icing it for a couple of days, we decided a compression sleeve would help stabilize her knee until it had time to recover the injury.I bought my daugther the XL. She has 21" thighs, and that was the recommended size for her. It is the correct size and works well for her.To put it on, it works best to follow their instructions (included in a pamphlet). The instructions basically say to put it on your calf, then fold over and slide up to right underneath the knee, then unfold. If you have a painful injury, this will create less pain when putting the sleeve on.
