The good things: it’s relatively stable and from a distance the veneer is attractive.The challenging things: if you don’t know how to assemble furniture, the instructions (pictured below) are pretty poor. I was left with a lot of “spare” parts that were included in the assembly kit but were not evident in the instructions. That said, once assembled, it feels relatively sturdy—if extremely light, flimsy, and poor quality.The bad: the veneer was chipped and already falling off before it was assembled. For the price, £129, you’d expect the veneer to at least be properly attached to the product. The whole thing is incredibly flimsy and lightweight.Summary: if you were expecting this to be a podium in a business venue, religious venue, wedding venue, or auditorium—look elsewhere as it is not a piece which looks impressive. It’s going to be sitting in my classroom and it will be an expensive laptop holder and white board marker holder. On the whole, would not recommend.

This lectern is of very poor quality. For the price is absolute robbery. Its not as solid as it looks in the photos and we had to fit screws at various points to hold it together as some of the holes and points just didnt make sense. If not for the inconvenience I would have sent it back for a refund. Complete waste of our money.Secondly, I ordered the dark wood and I received a white lectern. Why the colour was missed, I dont know. Very disappointed. Terrible to assemble as some of the holes dont tally. Has to use screws. Waste of our money.

Sr one attempt at this item, first one was sent in the wrong colour. Second one is damaged, chipped, marked, badly made, poor shoddy workmanship, damaged packaging too. Drawer missing. Really disappointed, do not recommend at all!

I made a mistake buying it, very poor quality.

Cheap material absolutely poor quality will return. Wasted my time.
