so it is wonderful to have a short survey of the man
John Maynard Keynes is one of the foremost economists in the pantheon, and his theories are still referenced and being brought back in parts for use in modern governmental economies, so it is wonderful to have a short survey of the man, the historical time period in which he came to majority and was influenced by, and the meat of his theory. This theory can not be covered in detail in such a brief overview, but it is a very good way to be introduced or to become reacquainted with the man and his work, and to use as a way to wet your appetite for more in depth study and exploration.

Good primer.
Decent primer. A few things I didn't know. It is obvious that the author is a fan. Almost no criticism at all.

3 3/4 stars
It's a generally good intro to Keynes. The illustrations are nice but don't really amplify the text a lot. The book will read differently to an American reader, since it focuses a lot on Britain's economy in The 1920s. But still a good read.

A good way to understand Keynesian economics
S full text is often dry and boring. But this book with graphics and illustrations gives you the essence without the details.

GREAT SUMMARY
This is a fabulous summary. It has a clear/concise outline of Keynesian policies with a mention of Friedman's Monetary Policies.

A Useful read
Simplistic, but informative with a detailed further read section if you wish further research a fascinating subject. If everyone read a little of this subject there might be less apathy to what happens in our economy and it’s consequences
