So great we bought the same chair 9 years later.
My husband used to buy the $99 desk chairs on Black Friday. He works in a home office for the last 20 years. 9 years ago I talked my husband into splurging for this exact chair from Office Depot. It claimed it was good for 8+ hours. I told my husband that other men buy recliners, but he works 16+ hours a day from his office chair and needed a good one. He has loved this chair for the last 9 years and thanked me for talking him into getting it many times. It was starting to need new arm cushions and I said “honey, let’s get you another chair “. He insisted it had to be this chair because nothing else compares to it. I found the exact same one on here and ordered it for him. I put it together while he was working in his old chair with our 2yr old granddaughter “helping”. Super easy. Now let me tell you why this chair is so great. The base of the chair is metal, not plastic like most so it holds up forever. The head rest is not usually moved, but when you need it, it’s priceless. The chair seat moves in and out which has helped at times when he needed back surgery or just to readjust when he should be quitting for the night. The arm rests move in and out to relieve fatigue. The back of the chair goes up and down and has lumbar support. This chair is worth every Penny. And so is my wonderful husband of 30 years. I wish we had gotten him this sooner. Btw, although Office Depot no longer sells this chair with the head rest, the guy delivering it said “delivery from Office Depot” when he dropped it off. Do yourself a favor and buy this chair if you’re work from a home office, or buy it for someone you love. You’ll be so glad you did for years to come. Btw, 9yrs of use made this cost half the price of the cheap Black Friday chairs in the end.

This is a dream of an office chair if you have lower back issues.
This is the 2nd WordPro Quantum 9000 that I have purchased in the past two year, the reason being that 1st mid-back WordPro 9000 is being moved to my job/office and this one is now my new home office chair. I don't believe that I have ever sat in a Herman Miller chair, but if you read online reviews and watch YouTube comparison videos, I would be willing to bet that Herman Miller is not much better and could possibly even just be one's personal preference between the two.My work recently built a brand new office with all new furniture. The office chairs that they purchased are all a brand called Novo with lumbar support. I guess they look nice enough, but they don't hold a candle to WordPro in terms of comfort and support. I am not sure how easy Novo discount codes are to come by and I was not involved in furniture procurement for my new work office, but it appears that discount codes are available for Novo chairs. Their base prices all seem to be more expensive than WordPro though.I would not hesitate in buying another one of these chairs if I needed, and if you have back issues I would highly recommend. The quality seems excellent so I don't anticipate needing to replace the two that I already have, but I now recommend them to anybody who asks.

A proper, professional office chair.
This chair is expensive. With that out of the way, I have spent more money cheaper chairs that fell apart after a year or two. I have been working from home since the beginning of 2017 and have bought quite a few different chairs that looked like chairs from my old office job...but were not. This thing is built like a tank. The bottom frame and arm supports are cast aluminum. The castors spin and roll as they should. It has all the adjustments that my office chair had. The mesh seat and back are very supportive and comfortable. The leg bolsters have a foam pad so that it won't cut off leg circulation. It's not cushy leather executive chair comfortable, but it is gets me through the day without overheating and helps encourage decent posture. If you are pining after your mesh office chair due to the pandemic, this might be what you are looking for.

More comfortable than previous chairs
This is my first mesh seat chair and didn't know what to expect, but I'm pleasantly surprised. Is it as comfy as a lounge chair? No, but it's more comfortable than the chair it replaces or the chairs I use at work.At 5' 9", I feel that my height fits pretty close to the target body type of this chair. If you are shorter, less than 5' 7', will find this a very comfortable chair, but you may discover that you can't lower the head rest enough to take advantage of it.At the opposite end of the spectrum, the seat feels a bit smaller than the average office chair so a larger individual may start feeling the hard plastic on the side on the side of the seat. Also, a taller person may find moving the seat to the front is likely to feel the hard plastic on his butt.

Nice chair but headrest is uncomfortable
I only tried the mid-back version in store, which was very comfortable. I came across the headrest version online and thought that it would be even better, plus most reviews of the headrest version were positive.I did not find the headrest comfortable at all. It is way too far forward with no way to adjust it horizontally. When sitting upright it's fine, and I can sit with good posture without touching the headrest too much, but whenever you recline at all, the headrest pushes the neck forward which is somewhat painful.I really tried to like the headrest and kept trying to convince myself I was just not sitting properly, but decided this was too much money to spend on a chair which caused me neck pain. I returned the chair today, which was quite a hassle due to having to disassemble the chair and fit everything into a large box.I will probably buy the non-headrest version instead.

Wonderful chair, just what I was looking for.
A tad on the higher priced side, but well worth it! Very comfortable, goes together easily.

This is the chair you deserve
Bought one of these from an office type depot for my bad back. Ended up being so comfortable that my daughter stole mine :) Bought the same model from Amazon, which was a bit cheaper than the original and includes the headrest as well. That was a year ago, and the chairs have survived 3 cats in addition to the normal abuse.I'd recommend getting a set of rollerblade-type wheels instead of the hard plastic ones. Beyond that, it saved me from having to buy a $1700 chair for my back
