Deceptive
This kaleidoscope doesn’t roll or twist. Its stationary. That’s not like most of these.The two metal end caps fell off after one time hitting the floor! I had to glue them back on.It’s pretty but not a great toy.Disappointing.

Inside mirrors are foggy, and impossible to clean.
Very cheap dollar store kaleidoscope, shows up in clear retail bag with a peg hook cardboard closure. So I got taken as far as price goes obviously, but if it was a decent kaleidoscope I could maybe be ok with it, but it isn't. The Inside of the lens, and the inside of the mirrors all have some sort of hazy film on them. Like the parts off gassed after assembly, maybe the glue, who knows. I would like to think that they cleaned the parts, especially the optical ones, prior to assembly, but who knows, maybe they didn't. Either way, it can't be easily taken apart to be cleaned, and even if you pried one end off, how are you going to clean the inside of a triangular mirror assembly with any decent results.Bottom line, anything cool this thing would have done, it doesn't do, because you can't see thru it.Go get one from the dollar store and save the other 20 bucks. You'll be just as pleased of not more pleased.
