Saicoo LED Desktop Lamp with Large LED Panel, Seamless Dimming-Control of Brightness and Color Temperature, an USB Charging Port

Cons - none. Pros - had for years and hasn’t broken. Still works. Light is strong. Would buy again.

I have another similar LED desk lamp. Same form factor, similar control, the difference is the LED light array is long and narrow, this if course is a larger diffuser panel. I thought this would be basically the same, other than the light panel. Wrong. The other one is cool, but pretty light and flimsy, this one is rock solid.The control panel (4 soft touch buttons) control the temperature of the light, from very warm and orange to blue-ish and cool. You can easily fine tune somewhere on the middle to get any type of light you want. You could use this as a photo light for small objects in a studio. The other two buttons control the brightness, with a lot of steps between dark and bright. The light makes a faint buzzing sound when you've maxed out any control in any direction to let you know that is the limit. Keep pushing the color temp button, when it is as cool or warm as it gets, it will buzz. Same for brightness.You can turn the brightness down very low so it can be a faint reading or ambient light or you can blast it and light up a large desk area.The arm articulates on several axes, you can aim it where you need to at the angle that you want.The base is glossy piano black and heavy weight, the arm is black matte plastic.One small negative, is the power cord that plugs into the back does not seat securely, it has come loose and come out from just moving the lamp around- it lacks a firm snap in place, just kind of slides in there with a loose friction fit.I guess another is the color temperature buttons are backwards and counterintuitive. Warmer light is always shown to the left on any illustration, cooler light to the right. That is how they fall on the color spectrum. These buttons are backwards, the left one makes it cooler, the right one makes it warmer. The cooler button has a little book icon, the warmer side has a cup of coffee icon. I guess that means, use bright light to read, use warm light to relax.Having two of these, one for each side of the desk would be the optimum set-up for someone who needs high quality diffused light that is completely controllable to do detail work, examine photographs or proofs under controlled light, etc. 2 of these plus a white backdrop would make a perfect desktop photo studio to photograph small parts, for product photography, selling things on eBay, etc. The diffusion panel gives a perfect light for photography.

Ich habe das gute Stück seit Ende Januar im Betrieb und bin wirklich begeistert. Das dimmen der Farbtöne funktioniert erstklassig, die Helligkeit kann man auch in einem großzügigen Rahmen dimmen. Das Nachtlicht verdient seine Namen, es ist nicht zu hell, sondern ausgesprochen angenehm und bietet trotz geringer Helligkeit eine gute sanfte Ausleuchtung. Das war mir sehr wichtig. Die Gelenke sind straff und gut justierbar, was für die Zukunft hoffen lässt. Sie soll ja auch eine Weile leuchten.Den Standfuß muss man allerdings am besten beim Drehen mit einer Hand fixieren. Reizt man die Möglichkeiten aus, kann sie auch schon mal kopflastig werden und umkippen. Sehr gute Ausleuchtung und kaum Schattenbildung. Top! Die Bedienelemente leuchten im Betrieb schon ziemlich hell das sieht ein wenig protzig aus. USB Ladebuchse ist auch vorhanden. Bis auf den Markenaufdruck und geringe Unterschiede im Packgewicht scheint sie identisch mit der TT-DL09 zu sein, die es damals noch nicht über amazon.de gab. Von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung!Der Tao Tronics Aufdruck wäre mir keine 70€ wert.

This lamp is absolutely outstanding and simply put there is nothing negative I can say. The lamp does everything as described. Shipment was fast and arrived before the anticipated shipping date. The lamp comes very well packaged and protected. I use this as a desk lamp but is placed on a hutch roughly 3 feet above my desk. My only concern was that the lamp wouldn't rotate 45 degrees so that the head of the lamp was parallel to my desk. This proved to be no problem whatsoever as the lamp can literally be turned in almost any way desired. Operation is touch sensitive and very responsive. Touching the red on/off button will turn on the light to the last setting that was used prior to turning it off. Both the high and low buttons operate the same way. Keeping your finger on the button will raise it to its maximum setting or lower it to its lowest setting. Once reached, you will hear a humming sound that indicates you've gone as far as possible. Contrary to some other comments I've read, this lamp operates completely silent, there is no humming noise whatsoever. I have my lamp bent at almost a 45 degree angle and the base is heavy enough to eliminate any worry of it tipping over, it sits very solidly. The arms are a matted black finish which gives it a very rich look. The base itself has a glass cover on it which makes it very easy to wipe of any dust with a dry cloth... I honestly bought this lamp with a little concern as to its brightness capabilities and overall functionality. As for brightness, it more then exceeds my expectations and I have to dim it at night because I find it too bright! The choice of white or yellow light is really a question of taste but is a nice option to have. Overall reliability, functionality and appearance is nothing short of perfect. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Saicoo lamp and highly recommend this one if your looking for an LED desk lamp. You won't go wrong.

I was searching for an LED desk lamp that emitted diffused bright light to help me with my electronics (and other) projects. The large panel and 10W light output convinced me to purchase this model and I am very happy of my purchase.The light is bright and there are a good number of light level and light color temperature settings to accommodate most uses. The touch buttons on the base with the haptic feedback for reaching the upper or lower limit is a nice touch. The lamp can also be directed in many different positions however if you extend it too far forward it will tip over as the base it not heavy enough. I do not think this will be an issue for most, and in the worse case you can put something heavy on the large base if need be.The base looks really nice, nearly premium, however the arm is just light black plastic so the lamp doesn't feel too sturdy. If this lamp were actually selling for its $159 list price I would definitely NOT purchase another one as it would definitely be overpriced, however at $56 the ratio between price and quality/features is much more acceptable.One feature I have not used yet is the USB port to charge devices. My biggest issue with this feature is that it only outputs 1A which is not enough for many current devices. I hope they will upgrade the output current to 2A in a future revision.
