I bought these for our Starlink Internet so I could temporarily mount it to the metal roof while I was waiting for the actual mounting kit from them. I ended up returning their kit and keeping these because they surprised us and have a strong magnetic hold.

I was looking for an option to attach the Starlink on my roof without drilling holes, and this was the perfect solution. It works exactly as I wanted; it's been very windy, and these magnets keep my antenna in place.

Super easy to attach to the feet of our starling dish and it stays in place in our wind so far.

I ended up using these parts for another project, but with excellent results. Speaking only to the quality of parts I would recommend!

I use these magnetic feet on my Starlink dish when I attach it to the roof of my SUV. We do a lot of beach camping, and it's nice to have the dish out of harm's way, so the vehicle's roof is a great place to put it. The Description alludes to using this on the vehicle while moving..."But not at high speed." I wouldn't use it on a moving vehicle at all. The magnets are secure while the vehicle stands still, even with strong winds, but I wouldn't trust my Starlink to be held by this on a moving vehicle.This roof mount is four magnets that screw into the base of the Starlink dish. Special angled adaptors allow the magnets to sit on a level surface. A heavy layer of rubber encases each magnet so they don't scratch the vehicle surface. I've used this magnetic mount with winds gusting to 66 mph. They held the dish securely, but I did experience a small amount of 'flutter' in the received signal while we were streaming a movie. This magnetic mount is a great way to attach Starlink to the roof of your vehicle and have a secure dish at a temporary location. As an aside, I purchased the Starlink travel case because I travel quite often with my Starlink. When these magnetic feet are attached, I cannot zip the case because the magnets make the stand slightly too large for the case.

In the picture, you will see the magnets next to a quarter. I expected them to be larger for a good, solid grip.On the vehicle I tried this with, the roof has a significant curve and the magnets would not lay flat on all for points. I tried loosening the bolts, and this helped, but the mount then wobbled a bit in a light wind.I was concerned about the dish blowing off the parked vehicle as it did not stick well with the magnets. I am thinking they need a little more surface area (larger magnets) and possibly some articulation to lay flat on a curved roof.However, they work well on a nice flat piece of steel, but this was different from my intended location and how it was marketed. I had planned on putting on the roof of a parked vehicle when camping.

This mount that uses magnets is a great option to mount a Starlink when you don't want to install it permanently and drill it to that spot. As long as you have a metal surface to put it on, you're good to go. This is easy to install and the price is reasonable ($37.99 at the time of this review.) I'm pleased that I ordered this.

Good materials and construction. Securely mounts the dish while NOT in motion. Not up to a moving vehicle. Still, this is a good option for portable Starlink use and a good value at the price offered.

Excellent product, can withstand highway speeds, while satellite is attached to the vehicle with no issue

Purchased these to mount to my steel roof as I didn't want a pole or have to drill into the side of my house to raise up my Dishy. Attached to the v.2 mount in minutes and the padding on the magnets will help ensure no scratches on the roof. Felt like a very strong bond when I place it on the roof, but not so strong that you are worried about never being able to get it off again. Haven't have a chance to see what happens in a strong wind, but I do feel very confident nothing should move at all. Great alternative to much pricier systems.

Hold vary well

These magnets are strong enough to hold my starlink down on a sliptank in the box of a truck while driving. Hasn't moved in a couple of hundred kms driven yet.
