Boguht this for my missis, as she prefers a very specific type of pins on these kinds of brushes - metal and without the round tips.The brush is a bit on the expensive side, being nearly £30, but I can see it lasting many years! It's heavy, feels very sturdy in the hand, it's solid rosewood, the pins are thick steel, the pin holding cushion seems pretty sturdy too - overall seems like a great product and a worthwhile investment if you want something that's not plastic and will last a very long time!I'll update the review if anything goes bad, such as pins fall out or anything like that.

heavy think brush; but too expensive

Exactly what I've been looking for, metal pins without the rounded bobbles that pull at the hair.Abit on the expensive side but worth it!!!
