Brilliant bulbs at a brilliant price!
I have been using 11 watt CFL candle bulbs in my chandelier for years but never found them bright enough and always had to have a reading lamp as well. I have never been able to find any higher wattage ones and the same applied to the LED ones (which were always very expensive too) - until now. I also have small bayonet fittings which are getting more and more difficult to find bulbs for, so I purchased some white converters to small Edison screw size and bought these bulbs (only buy the white converters as they blend in well with the bulbs). These 12 watt bulbs are absolutely fantastic, they are twice as bright at least as the 11 watt CFLs and really look superb in the chandelier, being tall and narrow. They have a smaller bulb section which, when lit, looks more like a candle with the light being at least as bright as an old fashioned 100 watt incandescent bulb. They flood the room with light and are really effective. I am going to try the warm white ones as well to see if they are a better colour, but these are really good, and, at £3.50 each, so cheap. I highly recommend them.
